I started the bottom feeder thread to let people know about all of the options available. There are many, & some are quite expensive. When I came across Vapage & their desire to bring bottom feeders to a mass market, & at a much lower cost, I was very interested in seeing this happen. Over the last 6 months Vapage has been extremely responsive to customer input, & made a lot of changes to the design of the Vmod as a result. The XL is the best bottom feeder for the money on the market. I have no doubt about that. There are other mods which are very nice indeed, but starting at twice the price. I have many of these mods (or had). I want to see everyone be able to own a quality, yet affordable, bottom feeder...the XL is it. :)

What's with the tiny o-ring? There was a teeny-little o-ring around the body of the silo carto (between the carto and screw-down clyinder) that was assembled in the V-mod XL. I removed it and haven't had any leaks. I actually put it around the tip of the nicquid bottle before installing, as that's the only place I could guess that it should go. Priming of the filler on the silo carto is neccessary, yes? I did.

Flavor is alot more pronounced with the silo carto than the hybrid atty, but I'm trying to get it broke in.

Got home tonight and mine was waiting for me in the mailbox!:vapor:

It actually is smaller and lighter than I expected. I have to press really hard to make contact with the 5V battery because it's not button top, but I like that battery the best so far. I tried the 2.8 silo with 6V and it was a little burnt tasting, so I'll try it once it soaks through better, and then try it with the 3.5 ohm attys later when I get them in the mail. Still got to get the bottle squeezing method down, though.

On the flat top batts, I recommend a magnet/spacer...shortens the button throw. :)

Yeah, I have some lying around somewhere, just gotta find them. I just tried the 2.2 atty and it's pretty nice! Thought I would like the 1.5 better, but nope. Letting the 2.2 silo sit for a while before I try it.

You're talking about the o-ring that came on the attys & cartos? I didn't know if I should leave them on or take them off or what they were for, so I just took them off too.
