Just introducing myself. I'm a recent recruit to the world of the Vmod...as of about 3 weeks ago. I LOVE my Vmod XL. So far all I have is the gun metal (that came with the kit) and the Burel shells. Now I know what Cracks looks like...I'm all in.
Crazy question. I prefer cartomizers (yes, I'm trying to use the hybrid AMG atomizer from the kit...but meh...it's okay, but not flicking my Bic that much). The Silos are good, but kind of expensive. So I've been using super shorty cartos from other vendors (2ohm...lower is too hot for me). They are great...but so far I am not getting a real long life out of them. Not bad. Not good. Anyway...I was using anodized aluminum drip tips (which were my favorite with carto
tanks on just about all my equipment) and then decided yesterday to try the plastic tips that came with the Vmod kit. For some reason my current super shorty is actually working and tasting good longer.
Any chance there's a connection there? Could the metal drip tip be keeping the metal cartomizer too hot and prematurely making the carto taste weird/die?
