Just got another VmodXL. So that makes 2 small ones and 2 big ones :)
Stop it More ! :p
I can't keep up with you....
I guess threes enough for me right now.

But honestly...
Since I got my vMods, I have been so satisfied with them, I don't even use my other Mods.
It's just my eRoll and my vMods now.

Last night, I charged up all of my eGo batteries....and then put them away.
I left out 2 twists, my Natural and my eVic and don't even use that stupid TEC mod with the bottom fire button that you have to lock before you can set it down...but other than the Natural with a rda octopus on it, don't know when I will use the others.
Made up some juices a couple of weeks ago...vaping Carnmel ButterRum now...came out excellent !

More...I checked out some of your pictures...and commented on a couple....
Very Cool !:2cool:

No sacrifice necessary, though ymmv. We try to avoid the "s" word around here, as a horizontal draw or a bit more vertical if the bottle's less than 1/2 full, or so is all that's necessary to feed, and feed perfectly, once you get into the groove. The "t" word (for tap, tickle, tip) seems to be more accurate. That to me, is the true beauty of this device, unless your talking the form factor. (You have to admit, it's aesthetically pleasing.) I'm only on my 2nd week using it, and the honeymoon's still in full swing. My only complaint (if you can call it that) was regarding the charger that came with the full package - it's pretty flimsy, but that was remedied today with a Nitecore charger.

This was my very first mod (I was raised on the fat bats), and although the reported "learning curve" I had read in some of the posts troubled me, I did not find that to be my experience. I took to it like a Cat to catnip!

^^^ I could never get the zen of manual dripping so I’ve got my fingers crossed that the the “groove” for the VMOD I just ordered doesn’t prove to be equally elusive. I find it so odd how some people don’t have a lick of trouble with any given vaping device while others find it nothing but a source of frustration.

I would agree that the VMOD’s form factor is very appealing.

Hi Peraspira !
No human sacrifices nessasary to fully enjoy your first bottom feeder !
The much touted 'learning curve'...as Beindeb says is a non-issue.
You will love the feel of vape gear that is not....tall and round.
Feeding the carto or atty is as simple as tilting it sideways or slightly down....
It does not have a tube running into the tank (like other bottom feeders)...
So juice flows into a little well surrounding the carto or atty connector.
Constant feed....no leaks !

Happy to have ya join us...
Let us know when you are a VModian !!!

After a flurry of events I ended up with 4 Vmod XLs and 1 Vmod 2....and love 'em all! I do "tip horizontal and tap" some...especially when breaking in an atomizer. The pro spec slant coil "shifu" atomizers from Vapage (they are the 1.5ohm and the 2ohm ones) are AMAZING! Some take a bit longer to "break in" than others (maybe a day max) so more "tip and tap" required. After they are nice and juicy...very little "S" or "T" needed, if any.

I've never tried a RBA ..with anything. Perhaps one day. My next experiment is the Cisco spec 2ohm from Avid. I wanted a back up for the times Vapage is running shy on the pro spec slant coils. Pays to have a back up. But if I can find a way to do RBAs on the Vmod that does NOT require drilling holes or other major "modding"...I'd like to give it a try one of these days!

The problem I have with the squid RDA on my vMod seems to be that the squid- even with the 510 to 510 extension doesn't seem to be long enough to reach into the juice well/ firing post....
Though I only played with for a very short time.
I can get it to register and fire on my eVic...but not on my XL ???
Will research it more when I get a chance....
But do agree with Forth- it's just alot easier vaping the vMods with attys and cartos !

I have 3-More has 4- now Forth has 5 vMods ???
That's a lotta backups !
:p

Today I got my first knucklehead drip tip and now i need to get 4 more because it really does work for juice burning my mouth!

thanks to fourthrok, i check everything that she uses :)

Does anyone have a stainless steel knucklehead? I might get 1 from kidneypuncher next month. It would match my silver Vmods.

I'm just thoroughly happy with my vmod xl I had to post again. I finally am confident leaving my house with only one device and I'm a heavy vaper. It's totally pocket friendly. 9mls of juice on board and 3400mah of battery. I really like my other mods but, they don't travel well. The only drawback I saw was lack of rba which I handled.

I get at least a day and a half of heavy vaping before I see a drop off in vapor performance and 9mls is enough for three days. Thing is awesome.

I ordered my 510 510 adapter from myfreedomsmoke. 2 of them. I ordered an additional one at the same time from avidvapor because they do vary and that one didn't work. I think the same issue you mentioned. Just know it didn't.
Try that... also the small o-ring inside the adapter makes a big difference...

Eddie...
Will check on that when I get a chance.

Gotta love the pocketability of the vMods...
Was using my eVic tonight, and thinking that I could not be seen in public with such a conspicuous looking device !
And certainly could not keep it in my pocket...
That would just look weird. :p

But you are a brave soul to only take one mod out...
I have to take a XL, a 2.0 and my eRoll when on the go.

I'd be happy to do one for you. I wanted a rba to have the ability to rebuild. With the SS wick and coil it's just as good as the shifu.
I am very impressed with the shifu 1.5. It's every bit as good as my squid mod but, irreparable(<lol love auto correct) un-repairable and not cheap. I can take longer draws on my squid and don't have to squeeze as often.. plus I love the look and color options..

Looks like a skittle ray gun....

It's the mechanical factor. There's very little to go wrong. I torched my wick and coil on the road today. Taking very great care of the coil. I was nervous..lol it would suck but,I don't get the same panic if I didn't have a vape that I did if I was low or out of cigs...

As I said: 'a very brave soul !'
Noticed the same thing...no panic if no vape.
With cigs...I COULD NOT be out...never, ever, and HAD TO have one every hour or more.
Vaping, yes I love to vape- chain vape at home even, but can and do go hours without during the day !
Pretty neat !

O WOW. O MY GOODNESS!

Afternoon all. So I've taken another brave leap in the journey w/my little V-2. I put on my big girl panties and then, put on the hybrid atomizer. I have had very little experience with atomizers...just the basic drip, drip for juice mixing/tasting purposes. I put in 6 or 7 drops, let it sit awhile, and loaded 'er up.

Oh my gosh! Who knew that my home brews had such flavor?!? (Maybe even too much?!?!)
I'm AMAZED!!!

Those pro spec slant coil "shifu" atomizers are great, aren't they? I had limited use of atomizers before...but never felt any urge to use them on a regular basis. Mostly just for tasting my DIY juice recipes and stuff like that. But when I finally tried the pro spec babies...holy cow! Now THAT's some good vaping!!

Mr Postman has just been with the vapemail.

My Vmod 2.0 is now all dressed up to go in her new blue shell & cone - she's not been naked now for a few days, since I realised how to squonk her properly

So now I've got enough spare bottles, o-rings and hybrid attys to last me a good few months, along with the change of clothing for my Vmod.

Big thanks to whoever posted up the 50% off sale a few weeks ago, made a big difference to the size of my order. Plus this time I didn't get charged VAT or Customs duty, which is another bonus - I'm a very happy Vmodian right now
