Whats the new vapage.com coupon code?

I believe the weekly code this time is 20% off everything 5GA7H

I'm totally and hopelessly in love with my Vmod too beindeb! Utterly. I now have 3 XLs (my preferred size) and 1 of the mini ones (I like it for use when out shopping, etc.). Just bought a couple of J-Wraps for 2 of my XLs and one for the mini, too. I also have several shells now...black, silver, camo, and burl. Got about 50 super shorty cartos, and maybe 6 Silos. And now have 12 shifu slant coil atomizers! lol! I had 14...but I'm thinking two of them have given up the ghost. I can't seem to rid them of a sort of burnt taste, despite repeated vodka soaks and juice priming. Ah, well. They had good lives.

Vmod rules!

Currently have 2 small Vmods silver and black, and just got a black VmodXL. My total is 3 for now.

Using the vapage slant coil atty and try as I might no other brand atty's work for me. I won't be buying any brand except from vapage even though they are high priced they last a long time.

Not using carto's on my Vmods at all, just on my REO mini.

I just ordered the mini squid rda. I didn't realize the octopus rda was as big as it is. Will be doing the same with a SS wick. Post pics when done..

That is so cool Eddie !
I have several of the octopus and one squid...
Might have to try that also !
It looks better that the A7, which looked top-heavy to me.
The squid is really small, not much larger that the vMod nosecone.
Any leaks under the octopus ???

Not yet. 510/510 adapter and washers. Used a#61 wire bit. Started by hand to set center the hole. Then dremel on lowest setting. Letting gravity do most of the press.Took like 45 minutes with breaks. Holding hand kept cramping. I set the bit in the dremel at the depth where the center post reached the chamber. Then used cutting wheel to notch. Was impossible getting a hole started on the round edge.

I double checked before I ordered but, can you confirm the squid is wide enough to grab the shell? If not I'll just throw a washer.. thanks

Pretty sure it's in Hong Kong. That's where ShiFu is...and he was at the factory last time I heard from him!

Edit: Those two slant coil atties I thought had died...or weren't working well or whatever. They are fine. Not sure what the deal was. Doubtless user error, because they are both fine today. I'm back to having 14 hybrid slant coils again!

Ah, yes -- the Vmod and Hybrid attys are manufactured in China.

The designs were developed right here in the USA by the inventor owner and vapor owner of the company about 3 years ago and finally put into production for the vmod1 over 2 years ago. Demand for an 18650 model was high and the VmodXL came out very late December 2011. A few months later the Vmod2 came out, utilizing all the terrific upgrades of the XL.

Shi-fu spends quite a bit of time in China with his manufacturers developing new products and tweeking others. Vapage most certainly owns the "guts" (forms and such) that it takes to produce these mods and keeps a close eye on them.

Here he is on a day off:

Well thanks for all the encouraging words, but I think the time has come for us to part ways....the walks on the beach under the moonlit sky have been nice but not easy and I like easy, well not too easy ;). I mean i don't mind working at something to reap rewards but sometimes you just know that you were not meant to be together and the rewards you reap are not to your liking...LOL.

to the classies we go! On a positive note, I have come to the realization that bottom feeders are not for me, but that is ok, nothing ventured, nothing gained!

EddieAdams-
Just put the squid on the XL case to check the clearance...
And it looks like it will clamp the shell to the chassis with about a 1/6" or so extra, so no washer should be nessasary- unless you want to !
Also note...there is no air hole in the side of my squid, none in the cover or the base like the octopus...none !
At the base bottom of the squid is a screw...the part that screws into the 510 connector....
Not sure if it is the air flow control ?, It is new, and I haven't looked it over too closely.
So, we shall see where this go's....

Aha! That's the new FISH shell for the VMOD, right? It's for sushi nites. ;)

Good for you, Crocky! We all need to try different things and find out what we like and what we don't. You, dear one, are completely courageous to post this. I wish you the best in your e cig adventures and will see you on the BB thread.

At the end of the day... all I want is a good vape! (I think that needs to be my sig line one of these days.)

Just thought I had to share this. It's not a ground breaking revelation, but I'm quite pleased with myself anyway.

I've had the Vmod 2.0 for a few days now. Love the flavour and vapour production, but couldn't get through more than a 1/3 of a bottle without a small amount of leakage (from the point where the bottle screws into the chassis).

So this weekend I decided to use the Vmod without the outer shell, to see if I could find out what I was doing wrong.

I found that if I don't overtighten the bottle and tilt to refill then gently squeeze the bottle in a vertical position, this solves all my problems. Also I may try a fix that I've seen on an earlier post about fitting some sort of packing between the bottle and the chassis, cos it looks like I'm damaging the threads on the bottle when I squonk with the shell in place.

Gald I've finally gone through a full bottle without a single leak or flood finally. My Vmod rocks

Aha! True confessions...ya got naked and moved into discovery!
What a great idea.

I don't know but I suspect (like most things) ALOT of the issues experienced with this guy come from our errant brains attempting to make it harder than what it is. Simplicity is one of the hardest things for our minds to either comprehend or accept.

When I was going through all of the posts I could find on the V-mod (know the object of your desire), I felt armed and ready to conquer any issues that could arise. When it came and I was putting it together, I was a little surprised at how easy it was (fore-play?). When I tried it, I reveled in wonder at both flavor and hit...coming from a background of fat bats and big cartos...I never liked the tanks, as they had too much fiddle factor, and leaking from cracks and what not, was also an issue with my blow and go life-way. I also was never interested in the VW's - again...fiddle factor! I just want to vape. That said, I think I just embraced the whole k.i.s.s. factor, and I have yet to encounter any issues that weren't in reality, minor operator error. I can be a ditzy, clutzy thing!

Now, I should also qualify the fact that I haven't used all of the parts! I have yet to try the "shifu" move, although I want and plan to! My experience so far, has only been with the silo cart (decided to go with what I know). Still k i s s -ing, I figured I would, once I had used the silo to its end, but that thing is still providing immense satisfaction and just won't quit! Maybe next week (I've only had the 2.0 for a week) I'll venture into unknown territory!

Got to run...we're having a bubble bath!
