Anyone else kickin' around today? Vapage is having a "mystery coupon" sale! I have a Vmod 2.0 in the cart @ 30% off, and a couppla of those AMG hybrid 1.5 ohm attys @ 40% off. I tried - believe me I really tried all my "secret computer skills" - but the coupon isn't giving up a better discount that this. Do I pull the trigger?
I'm thinkin' 2.0 because I saw several reports that peeps like the position of the squeezy a little better on this size, and personally I like the smaller size and have a .... load of appropriate batteries already. Any comment on that one?
And what's the deal with the Vapage attys? I detect a really polarized love-hate thing in posts about 'em. Considering I won't be using cartos - at all ain't gonna happen - I better love 'em. You've prolly already hit the 'submit' button on your order by now, so I'm curious as to what you decided. I have a 2.0 and an XL and I like them both. The 2.0 is really great for out and about with its smaller size, but the XL for batt life is also fantastic. I find them equal for the bottle squeezy position.
Welp, I happen to REALLY like the Vapage slant coil attIEs. It's really difficult to recommend one over the other for ohmage, but my preference is the 2.0s. I found the 1.5s to be a bit too warm. Other people just love the 1.5s. If you haven't yet ordered, take advantage of the sale and get a pack of each! With a bit of cleaning, they should last well over a week. Some Vmodians are using them for months! Also, these coils have been compared to the wonderful HH357 atty. Just by the way.

Rick here are the slant coil atties I mentioned. Try them... I think you'll be more than pleased.
AMG Hybrid Bottom Feeder (2-pack)
2.0 and XL user here... I like them both, 2.0 is really unobtrusive not that the XL is huge by any means. Easy to carry 2 2.0's for flavor changes. I normally pocket the XL and have a 2.0 in a case on my hip.
1.5 slant/hybrids/shifus are nice and warm. 2.0's a little cooler. 306 2.0 is in between (not a slant). Other than warmth, all vape similarly to me. Not a RBA but not a tank. Very user friendly and an easy, hassle free vape that tastes better than a tank and close to an RBA.

I agree,they rock, just ordered 6 more 2 packs. I push mine to the limit and wash and reuse until I can't use them anymore.
i prefer the 2.0 atties as well. Mine end up losing resistance anyway the more I use them. Have yet to figure that out but once they get lower than 1.7 or so I chuck them, because from there they go down quickly

Yup. That's what I had in the cart. But I think I'll change it back to the 2.0 ohm instead. (Wish they allowed you to pick & choose different resistances in those 2 packs.)
Welp, that's why I suggested while you're getting them at the discount price to perhaps get a pack of each.

I would have ordered another vmod today if they had the 50% off. The actual equipment was 30% while access were 40%. Better than nothing though!
I also prefer the 2.0s.
I have several cisco spec atties and also the HH357 which takes a while to break in, it still spits at me so I"m not crazy about it. Vmod w/a 2.0 Vapage Hybrid atty is how I quit smoking, and got me thru 1st 6 months, so I guess I can say I highly recommend it.

There are a few of us that have gotten the Squid, Igo-L, and the Trident to work on the XL's. Check out the thread that tearose50 suggested... All the info you need is in that thread. If you look at my Avatar, you will see a pic of the Igo-L on mine...

It is the only RBA that I like to use. Easiest to build and really like the looks too. I got to that point, (been down this road in the past), I just was tired of dripping and thought it could work on my XL...then saw Ryedan modded his and I was all in at that point!! I have found myself in the past few days looking at RBA's that are out there now, just to see if there is something else out there that might be of interest!! Enjoying what I have at the moment though...

Pook and bother - that code isn't working for the ala carte kits. It's balking and returns "Coupon code "JHWFR" is not valid." I really don't need two more low end chargers plus another pile of batteries.
Sent Vapage an e-mail to find out if the ala carte kits were excluded from the offer on purpose or if it was an oopsie. Film at eleven.
