As far as the atty that comes with the kit, I don't believe that it's the slant coil shifu that you guys are talkin about. Not entirely sure though. Does anyone have one of each and can post a pic good enough to see if there is a visual dif of the innards?

It probably is not, as my first kit came w/old one. No picture but it's real easy to tell......look in there, old atty has just a straight across coil / wick wrap white wick going across the tube exactly horizontally.

Hybrid Shifu will have slanted coil not straight coil, and goes across the tube at an angle, and the coil has many more twists in it .

There is a photo in this topic somewhere though, but it's pretty obvious when you look into the barrel.

I think you hit on some of the good points in your post......vmod, while not VV is very portable, and the price is right. For what it is designed to do, it does well. The footprint is small and it is also lightweight, convenient and attractive.

If I had 3x the $$ I could get something else, but for what it is, what it does, and the overall design, I don't think you can BEAT IT.

VModXL has definitely changed my vaping experiences for the better. Those little shifu atties are a blessing. I have been using the same one for almost a month and plan on ordering more in the very near future. My favorite vapes tastes even better, I have tons of vapor production and the battery life from my 18650's...what more can I ask for. My only wish is some more decorative shells for my VMod so that it knows it's loved. Kind of like putting a dress on a chihuahua (or however you spell those little dogs)..but hey, even Vmods need stylish shells to show their attitude. Butterflies...or fairies...or the like.

Max you are perfectly correct in your assumption about the LR atty's. Kattykins prefers the 2 Ohm Shifu's while I side with the 1.5 side of things. Neither of us are wrong just have different tastes..which is a good thing. Get that Kat good thing ! lol

Any ways.... get some of the new Shifu's. I suspect we will continue talking about them for sometime but I can say that they have caused me consternation. You see silly me didn't quite believe how good they were and have ordered a rebuildable for a bottom feeder that is due delivery next week. I am not taking this atty off....not happening. May end up buying another VMod to house that but this atty is staying put !

Tell you what, shifu master needs the input of a FEMALE----somebody (like me ) who knows what the modern woman likes. Indeed more rubberized case designs for the Vmod2.0 and VmodXL are needed at this point.

HOwever, maybe they are letting them run out and we're gonna have a VV Vmod......I'd be on that about as lickety split as white on rice.

What's this bottem feed RBA that you talkin about?? I like the couple rebuildables I have, the V3 and the Smok Vivi (Genesis Style) tank. I also should be getting my mini DiD clone (a.k.a DuD) tomorrow. Would have been today but the post office "missent" it...

I put the bat that came with it in now that it's charged and other than the button having more travel I can't really tell a difference. It is rated 200mah over my AW IMR so maybe it will last longer. We shall see but I haven't fel t like throwing the HH. 357 on yet. It's vaping decent enough with the atty that came with it. Been about 3 hours now I guess. In this short time I haven't flooded it again. Getting good at moderating the feeding. Squeezed it a couple times but mostly it seems to do all the work by itself! I hope my wife doesn't hate me if I start vaping this more often than my Provari LOL.

No doubt. I just got mine in the mail today but if they came out with a vv tomorrow I'd buy one. I'm gonna get mine airbrushed with something wicked on it and clear coat it for protection. Then I'm going to get a tattoo to match.

The A7. Not sure how it will work out but can pop it on my Vari for a bit. Have ordered far too many DiDalikes. I have a couple of genisis devices also to keep me company.

Now that all said and done I picked up a VMod after vaping about 8 days and it has really been my day to day go to device. Yeah as above I have a Vari at various times been up to three and this mod and that atty but through it all over the last nearly 8 months I have only gone 6 days without a VMod. I even bought another well known type of bottom feeder and after two days of owning it I had bought another VMod and the other one was sold as soon as the VMod arrived.

It is always on or near me. Given how fast I trundle through other devices, Vari excepted, it is testimony how well designed and easy it is to use. Until a updated version is launched can't see me giving this device up ever. Even then this one sitting on my desk just by my left hand is never leaving my possession.

The black or silver ones look real nice sanded down to an industrial silver plainness.....and then you can engrave whatever you want on them. I sanded one of the black cases down already. Gonna take it to a metal worker here and have him do somethin' wild n' crazy for me~
