Tearose, do you know if they are going to offer replacement cones and/or the screw-in atty chambers?

I do know people who have lost their cones, and I sort of live in fear of that happening, it's easy to do......and that means purchasing an entire new case for $29.99...which for a small piece like j a cone is quite a lot.

I know there was some talk about this happening back in March 2012, but never have seen them offered on the vapage site.

Race, I doubt it. I have a feeling one must get the new shell which would come with a cone.

I think it's something that would sell, just as well as the bottles or the O-ring kit.

People aren't gonna mind spending $6-10 or so bucks and may order a "spare" when they order other stuff. I know I would, so that's $ they would make off me where I probably wouldn't spend $30 on a "just-in-case-spare" skin.

I have friends in biz who don't offer do-dads in their shop (whether they be hairstylists or massage therapists or dog groomers) and I always tell them that is where to make the $....it's the little stuff that people grab on their way out the door that adds up over a year's time.

I wonder why Vapage doesn't offer the rubberized happpy hippie, or hippie chick etc. cases on the retail side, though they do have a lot of choice on the wholesale side......

My motto: Accessorize, Acessorize, Acessorize. Whether you're selling a harley davidson or a vmod.

Hopefully NOV 2012 was the date of renewal registration, not the end of it. If the latter, tell shifu master that he better take time out from moving and get down to motor vehicles. I got mine at MV and threw in my glove compartment, thinking I would put in on my plates "later." 3 days later I was pulled by a state trooper, who just told me to stick it on there when he found out I had it in my glove compartment......but he did have to check my license and insurance while he had me pulled over, you know how they are......

Which was fine...except I live in a tiny town, and everyone listens to their scanner, so of course, hundreds of people who know me heard my name over the scanner and so all week I kept running into people in the grocery store asking me why I got pulled.

Yes, life in a small town really is like that.

For once, I am happy to live in LAmetropolis.

All I know is that when you buy a V2 or XL shell/case you get a matching cone. It appears to me that only the most popular vmod1 shells/cases were ever made for the vmod2 (with the matching cone) and only a sample run was made of the girly Vmod XL shells/cases.

I don't mind using my black cone with my Happy Hippie and Hippie Chick shells/cases. Of course, I'd pick up a cone to match for $5.00 if they ever became available. But, I doubt they will.

I don't think the chimneys (that other part) have ever been sold separately. I'm sure if there is a demand for that, they will show up.

As a reminder -- the chimney and cone and o rings on the V2 and XL are identical. So, if you see a good deal on either one it could be worth picking up just for the spare parts. (I did )

All I know is that when you buy a V2 or XL shell/case you get a matching cone.

I believe it is proably a bad idea to have to tell a customer that if they lose their cone it's gonna cost 'em $30 for a whole new case, plus shipping, when all they need is a $1 (factory price) cone piece.

With a new customer, it's more like a fatal error, because they are done with you after that.

Since i have an interest in marketing consultancy, I observe widely what it is that creates huge fanboi situations around *certain* manufacturers/vendors.

In the end, it's because the customer perceives their on-going needs are going to be satisfied, effectively and politely (not just at the intial point-of-sale) when they choose to make an investment in a product. It's also what propels them to buy several more of the same product, and to recommend to others.

I believe with some certainly, that there is a demand for reasonably-priced replacement parts for the vmods, and that there are no negatives to making them available.

BTW, I'm talking stock Silver and/or Black cones.

Been going through a life is too busy to post much phase so....haven't ! Posted that is.

Still using the original pair of Shifu 1.5's I installed in October and they are still behaving impeccably. Spent about an hour in alcohol last month as I thought they were starting to go downhill...nope battery's on the way out. Got some more and all good.

Spent the majority of last week VMod vaping away from home in Minneapolis. Had packed a couple of VMods and 2 spare battery's. Manages to leave one in the car so only had a device and a couple of batts. Was very concerned but need not have been. Still had juice to spare when I landed in Orlando.

Really thinking about adding a mini to the 2.5 I own !

Huhhh... I just received the Burel Wood shell that I ordered while my stock black shell gets a work-over, and I'm quite impressed with it. It has a slight rubbery feel to it and looks great. Glad I got it, but not glad that I missed the sale prices. grumble grumble. Oh well.

Now to figure out what I want to do with the stock shell and cone...
