Hi Vmodians,

Sorry for offtopic, but i must show You my new babes :)

Not to continue to OT thing...but I also have a Bogger and notice that you appear to have A7s on there...with some sort of drip shield? Where did you get those shields if I may ask?

I still favor Vmod the most for all day vaping. And I haven't figured out how to get a RBA to work well for me (so far...they are WAY too hot and harsh tasting. I just don't seem to have the knack for building them, I guess). But..in the event I ever figure it out...I think I'd like to try one of those shields!

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Those Boggers are pretty sweet! I don't see that black color on the wen site. Their site is a bit confusing can you tell me what exactly you ordered so I can maybe catch a clue? Or is there a useful Bogger thread you could point me to?

Smilee- sweet mods!!

Not to change the subject...but I'm new to this area of ECF. My Vmod XL should be here possibly tomorrow, and I was just looking for some advice from the experts. Ya know...things I should know right off the bat. I do have some of the hybrid slanted attys coming with the XL, from the advice or Fourthrok.

Thanks guys (and gals)!!!

Here's one. Put a few (or several) drops if liquid in that atty and let it sit for a few minutes before first use.

Some like to do it in a condom so it doesn't just drain out back into the vmod bottle.

And, it may snap crackle and pop at first. That's normal.

And, believe it or not, read the small instruction page. It's a good start.

I haven't posted these in a long time -- so here it goes for the newer owners who are watching. It's slightly different than the instructions......and from veteran BF fans. It's all good, except I don't hear the pocket of juice go into the chamber most of the time. I forget to dry pull, too, but it is a common BF tip.

"Here are the initial instructions. The Vmod doesn't require more than a tap -- no big squeeze needed, though some prefer to do it that way. With the XL there are many successful methods people have developed.

Feeding:

1) invert device & wait for juice to fill the bottleneck on the fill bottle. You may even wiggle it a bit & look for the air bubbles.

2) turn upright & squeeze the bottle.
(You will hear the pocket of juice release into the chamber.)

3) dry pull a few times to fill the Hybrid or Silo with juice from the chamber.

4) Vape

5) when atty or carto gets dry, do a couple of dry pulls again.

6) when chamber is empty...see #1 "

Personally I find that after the initial upside down tilt (after a new fill of the bottle or if the Vmod has been sitting idle and upright a long while) and watching for the bubbles...I seem to do best with holding the Vmod horizontal (I like to hold it up to my ear..but that's just me. I like listening for the little "squirk!") then I sort of tap the bottle LIGHTLY...hear that little squirk noise and then just vape. I don't "squonk" or "tap" every hit. Not at all!! In fact, depending on if I'm chain vaping...I may not have to tilt horizontal and tap for quite a good bit as the juice will continue to feed into the chamber. Once the bottle gets down to around 3/4 empty...it'll become necessary to "tap" much more often, and really...it's best to just go ahead and top off the bottle at that point. YMMV.

If you dry pull too hard, or tip the Vmod nose down too far while "squonking" (tappnig), or squeeze too hard... you can flood the atty or carto if you aren't careful. If that happens you can often clear things by holding the Vmod upright and slowly compressing (squeezing) the bottle pretty much all the way in...then releasing. That should pull most of the excess juice in the carto/atty back into the chamber/bottle. Try it a couple of times if you really did a number on it. If push comes to shove...take the atty/carto out of the Vmod and gently blow it out into a tissue or the juice bottle.

So got my order of attys and bottles. They sent the 2.0 bottles not the 9ml XL bottles I ordered. I called and they are remedying the issue but what a pita! Reading through this thread from beginning this seems to be a common occurrence with this vendor

I don't know Low Budget. I wouldn't be surprised if their error ratio isn't much different than other big suppliers.....we just hear about it here. I've gotten wrong things and been shorted things from other vendors, too and usually it's handled right away.

It's the one's from any vendor that aren't handled quickly that are the real PIA.
