That's a great set up FN. Ok if I grab that picture in case I want to show it to someone?

I don't have a Bogger  though I have admired the design immensely. I love the side squank hole. My feeder collection was well stocked before the Bogger was made so I never expanded it with a Bogger. Wood mods are wonderful, but only one I have is somewhat practical for out and about, much less in a pocket.

I tried reo's too. Fine mod. I had a Mini and a Grand. Fine mod for home use, imho -- but I like the touch of wood. And, for the first time ever, I'm going to say publicly what I didn't like and do it here where other's might find it useful.

I didn't like the throw of the button, plus it kept spinning on me and going off or I would unconsciously turn it. I couldn't tell when they were on and off and that was disturbing and perhaps, unsafe. (I had experienced a shorted atty and a mod not firing when it should is one of the warning signs.) (I believe reo has a button cover add on now which would make a difference)

Fingernails and a small squank hole don't work well together. I'd have to use both hands to squank and lots of force and I needed to have the bottle 1/2 full all the time. (after using the vmod squanking seems primitive to me).

I thought the door was well done, but I never easily could put it back on. It's a tiny little ridge the door slides smoothly into and these eyes have seen better days. If you didn't get it on just so, it would pop off. It is well made, mostly just not my cuppa tea.

I thought the battery compartment was a hair short. I don't like my batteries being that tight in a mod and the spring that compressed.

The mini simply did not hit as well as the vmod little guy. I'm not sure if there has been an internal resistance check done between the brands, (that seems to be a new fad), but it was obvious to me that the Vmods are better in that regard, in both sizes. To me, that's not as important when using 18650 batteries, but it was obvious to me on the 14500 versions.

I didnt' get used to the feel of the square coldish metal, and still don't like squared metal box mods or larger squared off wood mods.

I could be really picky and say more -- but that's pretty much it.

The XL came out and had what I wanted and I only hung on to the Grand because of all the glorious things people say about them. I even Kicked it to think that might make me like it more. The minute I got another feeder fit for a Kick, I never picked up the Grand again and decided it would be happier in a new home rather than gathering dust. I owned it for over a year and may have recharged the batteries 4 or 5 times. (btw, the mini had found a new home many months earlier)

I got my first vmod because it had features my wood models did not......and I've owned and carried one with me ever since. I love that the chimney and cone keep an atty from breaking off. It's never good to drop a mod, but is does happen. The vmod has held up extremely well with no worries of breaking a connection and killing the mod. I was also much happier with the rounded design and that original shell was never offensive, though I much prefer my rubberized fun shells. And, though similar, the vmod button is quite an upgrade in actuality...and the throw is something I can sense and even know when it is slightly off. (So I make sure it is fully to "on").

Even with some of the growing pains the original vmod1 had, it was still a pretty sweet mod and never ever leaked outside the shell. Then the VmodXL came out and it was even more of what I wanted. It held 18650 batteries and could be fed with any standard sized 510 atomizing device. It's what we here at ECF wanted in our Vmods, and Brian/Shifu made it for us.

And, it got even sweeter when Shi-fu came up with the Hybrid slant coil atty about a year ago.

So -- that's my story of Vmod vs Reo.

OOOOH, you did it now..... You may have just opened that door... My suggestion would be to copy/paste in this in every REO thread...LOL

Thank you Muzichead. But, I would be told how I just should have bought a woodville.

No disrespect to the Woodville. I understand it to be the best model reo ever made........and that's from guru's much smarter than me.

That is another thing. Vmods have made feeders available almost consistently for about 2 1/2 years. I think the XL was out of stock for a few weeks once, between the first and 2nd runs. The first run sold out in a a couple of days.

Vapage makes sufficient run size, because they can.

where is my throat hit ? everyone is saying the vmod has it ,butiam doing something wrong i think?anyone have some advice??

Yes, I explained how to subscribe, and linked holly to a few vmod topics, and also sent her some YOu Tube videos.

If you have a you tube video that you think might help (visuals are so useful) in an aspect of the vmod please PM her. I will be out of pocket for the next 2 weeks and she just got this vmod so she is a newbie to vmod and there is a little bit of a learning curve to all bottom feeders, as we know.

Welp, a mod itself doesn't create throat hit. That is completely dependent on the vliquid and the delivery system and the ohmage.

Let's see whats in that nice aluminum case in the background.

Your VMOD R A W K S !!

Thanks, Fn! Hmmm... in that box? I'd show ya but I'd have to have ya sign a gag order... ;)

where can i get the boge 2.0 yeah i dont like my lips being so close to the coil it sparks and burns my lips lol

Oh no!

Hi holly. I often get my Boge's at CCV -- Crystal Clear Vaping. Get the silver colored ones, not the black.

A couple people like to use Knucklehead drip tips. Someone have a link for our new vmodian?

Sometimes a brand new atty spits a bit -- but that shouldn't happen after you use it for a bit longer.

And, not so much fun as the Darling One's -- but I've admired this one. I found the picture on a Google Search.....and don't think it's owner is anyone here at ECF.

So -- that's my story of Vmod vs Reo.
Ms Tearose, that was the kind of feed back I was looking for as far as other people's experience with other bottom feeder. I read through all the(well not all but most of them) on the reo but something about it just didn't hit me right. The bogger looked good too but I couldn't justify the cost of one, as I am on a very limited budget. I got lucky and got my xl on half price from Vapage, along with a couple of extra bottles and some of the slant coil attys. I can't say that I love my xl, only thing I can say I love is my Boss Lady. Heck, I don't even say I love riding my bike but I do like the heck out of it.
But back to the point at hand, I pulled the trigger on another xl, as I felt the 2.0 would be a little small for me and there is no telling when the 50% sale would happen again.
I did price all the parts I would need from bogger and have decided that a home made bottom feeder is in my future, just not sure how far into the future.
Again, I thank all my fellow Vmoders that responded and help me make up my mind,as feeble as mine is.

Yep i could and it can be done to any mod type it is just driptip decorations :)

Bet that setup attracts lots of attention o_O

Hmmm... just drip tip decos? Not sure I've ever seen a pink zebra striped Reo, but perhaps one does exist. Not sure I've seen too many mods pink moustached either for that matter.

Many of my setups seem to garner smiles and giggles and admiration, especially from me! :)

Good for you and anyone else who likes like funny Vmods. I prefer my REO mods to be shiny and sparkly.or have a nice texture to hold. So many to choose from and Woodvils will be coming in November. Also engraved doors but that is after the woodvil run. That is why i love REOs so much :)

BTW i come to this thread because someone is always posting about REOs like it is a contest. smh That is why I reply to posts here just to show my opinion as a REO user. There are probably people who own both but i do not see their opinions. I don't post here to disrupt or try to sell anyone on having a REO or to make fun of those who love their Vmods.

Actually if you read through the thread and the other vmod thread you would see there are several folks that have both and have Posted thier opinions. However this thread is about vmods so if someone wanted to talk mostly about reos then for sure, they would go to the proper thread ;)

i think it is always good to compare products however it does not have to be about a contest but perhaps that is the way you see it...maybe just maybe you secretly long for the vmod and that's ok, we won't tell....:toast:

Well ... I think one word will sum your post up nicely ... WOW!! Really? Since you've not seen anybody that owns both REO's and VMod's express their opinion ... Let me stand up and be the first to PUBLICLY admit to being the first ever to own and LOVE BOTH VMods AND Reo's! (Not really ... There are MANY they just don't like to admit it ... Here on ECF! LOL!) I started with a VMod XL very early on in my vaping journey. I was lucky enough to find a Vapage 1/2 sale and while I knew virtually nothing about bottomfeeders at the time I wanted to learn! The VMod XL was an affordable and fun option for me. I STILL will grab my VMod XL (and pick one of the many different colorful shells) for long battery life & ample juice supply for out and about! I also own REO's! Shock and awe! Haha! A Grand, a 2.1, AND Woodvilles ... 18650, 18490 stabilized, and the tiny little Woodville 14500! Imagine that! And I LOVE all of those too! But wait ... WHOAH!! I ALSO own Bogger Box Mods ... The DNA20, a Standard, and TWO Mini's (one stabilized wood)! LOVE those as well! AND hold onto yer hat ... I also have Red Sky Mods! Yep! A DNA12 and a Cruiser II. LOVE those as well! Soooooooo ... To say that VMod lovers/users don't know about "other" bottomfeeders (such as REO's) and state their opinions is suggesting in some way here on the VMOD user's thread that one is superior to the other. Everybody has the right to their own opinion. As a user of MANY bottomfeeders ... I say use whatever you LOVE ... Whatever keeps you away from the butts! The VMod XL and the Baby VMod stand equally as proud AND right beside my REO's in my bottomfeeder collection of MANY! And yeah! I'll be in line right beside YOU when Reo Woodvilles are offered again in November (don't let me step on your toes in the stampede! LOL!) ... BUT I also NEVER miss a 1/2 off Vapage sale either! :D AND if someone wants to learn about bottomfeeding ... Typically it is the VMod XL I will suggest ... Among "others"! ALL are great devices ... And we are lucky to have so many options in this wonderful vaping journey! Vape on friends! ;-)

That's what I like about this thread, it's not strictly just about the vmod. Sure a lot of people here have just the one but a lot of us have other mods as well. And it's not about who has the priciest, the shiniest, the most elaborate or the least expensive. It's about what works for each of us, how we tinker with it to either make it better or fix a little flaw that someone may have run across. Or just want to see what they can do to it.
To me, it's like my motorcycle. I ride, some people don't understand that, but it's cool to me. I don't ride a big, shake your .... off Harley but I don't hold it against anyone that does. But I do expect to be accepted for what I do and use. Not for what I don't.
Enough of my soapbox ranting and I apologize for that.

2423kids, Dang you have an arsenal of vaping gear! I'd really be interested in knowing what kind of "purse" you carry around with you. It's got to be an interesting one.
Soon as my other vmod gets here, I'm going to take a photo to see how much I have changed since starting vaping. I am also eager to see what is coming in the near future.

Haha!!! There's that big ol'Grill guy again! Makes me hungry every time I see it! ;-) YES ... I'll admit it ... I'm a hopeless (but HAPPY!!!) BOTTOMFEEDER ADDICT!! AND Ms. Darling ... A pathetic Mod-A-Month Club member!! Hehehe! AND ... I don't carry a "purse" ... I travel light! A little cash, credit card & driver's license in my back bluejean pocket ... AND ... A bottomfeeder! ;-) I just like having "choices" for each day! :D

Well said!!!!!!
I do ride a Harley=my preference but also ride with others that ride Honda's , heck I learned on a Honda Rebel
I like my Reo's = my preference , but have others , just don't use them as much because of my preference. I loved my Vmod XL and mini Vmod , they just quit working :( but I still liked them . Now if I could use a RM2 on one, I might go purchase another but the Reo is working just fine!!
