It's been typed that the Vmod is one of the hardest hitting 14500 devices made. There is very little internal resistance or something techy like that, which makes the difference. Still, the drop off in power will happen quicker with a 14500 than an 18650.

I am an 18650 fan. I find I get that "fresh battery" feel much much longer. Plus, if you get an XL you could always make it Kick ready and have a ball.

And, I do like AW batteries the best.

I spent a day or two dripping the 357 to get an idea how to vape it.

Gave up lol

Just bunged it on the VMod in the end and squelching was getting some dry hits. On the drive into work one day remembered a post by Ferdand about gravity feeding it and all has been good since.

Long lasting atty's, I'm at 6 and a half months on an Ikenvape LR(1.8) 901:w00t: And heres the kicker, never cleaned(except for the occasional blow through) and never dry burned, and the flavor and performance are still WAAAAY up there:thumbs:

I echo a loud shout out for IKV. My Cannons (2.5Ω and 2.0Ω) are still hitting like there's no tomorrow. They are used nearly daily. I got them....

June 30th, 2011.

Happy Vape-a-versary, my dear Cannons!

Yeah, you just have to develop you own rhythm and method, you'll arrive at the best balance. The 357 is a little tricky, and with just the standard feeding it swings from too wet to too dry (and vice versa) easily. Once you add the tilt feeding mode, it all falls into place. I don't even think about it now, I just vape. It's only when I stop to think about it that I realize I'm only occasionally squirshing, and mostly tilt-feeding, because once it gets going, it just keeps going. It's like a pump you prime until it flows and flows. Sooner or later I get a little juice in my mouth, or something happens, and I "start over" to get to that level again.

@Andy. I gotta hear your impression when you try to take that 357 off. Oh, i've tried. And it always goes right back on because the flavor is unequalled. I have an IKV 1.8 that I used to like a lot. It makes great vapor ... that tastes blank. The Vapage gold bottom Hybrid I liked at first has been dumped into the "misc" box. I'm not into any kind of contest here, just reporting my tragic dependence on a single atomizer.
