Sorry bud...I am using one right now and the draw is really tight to me , were the old ones tight.I only briefly used the old 2.0 ones but can't remember them being tight.

It has great vapor but I keep alternating between it and a cisco 306 on the same juice at same voltage and the Cisco has more flavor in my opinion.

UPDATE: Got the following response Vapage.......
Hello Jeff,

We are sorry for that mistake. There were a couple old style attys in with the new stock and you were mistakenly shipped the old. We will ship out the new style to you ASAP!

-Vapage.com

Just a heads up to those that have recently ordered the ShiFu Spec Slant Coil atomizer. There must be some of the old style Hybrid BF atomizers left laying around. I'm should it was just a mistake that I received the olde style atomizers. So, check your order to make sure you receive the ShiFu atomizers. I have sent customer service an email asking them to correct the problem but, now I got to wait on order to arrive.

To me the XL and the 2.0 have a tight draw if you over feed. I think the juice fills the space on the outside of the atty/ carto between the o-ring and the bottom of the atty/ carto. Sometimes when I remove the collar there is juice on the outsides of my atty/ carto, this tells me that juice pushed past the o-ring and must have filled the outside void to push past the o-ring. The air for your draw comes in through the hole in the bottom of the atty/ carto and to two smaller holes on the side. If this space is filled or nearly filled with juice the air must be drawn through the juice and in through these holes. It's kinda like blowing air through a straw and then putting the straw into a glass of water, it takes more pressure to blow air when the straw is in the glass of water. Try not to bottom out your atty/ carto when you screw it in. Screw it down just enough to get a good connection. I can screw mine all the way down and then back them out almost a full turn and still have a good stable connection.

If your atomizers were wrapped individual and came two to a pack I think you got the ShiFu Spec atomizers. If there were just two loose atomizers in a twin pack then you got the older style.........

Just heard from vapage ,apparently I got the old ones too :(

I'm confused but they are sending me some replacements. They really do have great customer service.

Shifu spec 1.5ohm....first impression...WOWZA very nice vape. I am into about 2 hours of vaping these. Now if they retain consistency from atty to atty and last like my Ciscos, we have a winner. The draw on these are about the same as my Ciscos and seem a little warmer and flavor is a little more vibrant :)

I primed the atty with about 6 drops and let it set for about 10 minutes before I put it on the XL, but I do this with all my attys and have had great success with them.

There was absolutely no yucky break in flavor or anything weird like that.

You will be happy.

Been through a few bottom feeders but always return to the XL....usually running back.

Same here! Bought a Vmod XL, liked it so much that I bought a REO Grand, and then ended up buying a 2nd Vmod XL the other day because I like them better than the REO Grand...

I am considering the vmod for myself and a friend. The last time I looked into them, many months ago, they used proprietary carts and atties. That dissuaded me. I understand that has been corrected now. Do you have to futz with other carts or atties to use them in the vmod? I am willing to futz, but my friend needs easy out of the box.

Any thoughts?

If you take advantage of 50% it's steal. Not much of futz just put a hh357 1.5 ohm long barrel on it or maybe the new atty by vapage. If you splurge of the hh357 it kind of spoils you. You may never want to put any other atty on it.

But I could still use the dozen or so standard 510 atties I have on hand as well?
