I couldn't swing another Vmod right now. I did however stock up on enough Atomizers and parts to last me a good 4 or 5 months. Will be really nice to just buy juice for awhile (like that will ever happen with my mod addiction).

My wife's due next week and I have another college fund to start worrying about ;).

I got 2 coworkers to pull the trigger today. Converting vapers a Vmod at a time :).

Congrats on the new "college fund", almost.

I love your expression... One VMOD at a time... perfect!

And congrats to our newest VMODian, 2779!!

Thank you, Tat. I'll do in a pinch. ;)

I really do prefer the 2.0Ω to the 1.5s. I am going to experiment a bit with both, but I think my mind is made up!

Hey sweeties (all of you)... can you help me to find the pics of setting up a Kick in the VMOD? I'm struggling here.

Hugs all around~

Guess you have found it ?

If you are happy with the 18490 option the simplest way to Kick it is to just use a 3 inch length of wire with the insulation stripped from the last inch each end.

Connect on end to the bottom spring and the other end to the side loop of the Kick and you are done.

Looking for a neater way to do this but I basically copied Sahils method with a little amendment.

Small shim of plastic separating 2 conductive disks of metal smaller than the shim. Run 2 wires under the disks NOT touching so that the top wire touches the top of the Kick and the bottom wire .... yes the bottom.

The earth run from the bottom spring to the loop on the side of the Kick.

I have the wires secured to the Kick and isolated from each other by electrical tape.

You will need to remove a few millimeters from the top of the bottle so the Kick fits under the bottle.

Place the plastic top connection facing up bottom facing the battery.

If you have made the shim of plastic and metal disks thin enough slap in am 18650 and away you go.

"the HH kind of spoils you" for sure that's the feeling i have had, and i measure all atomizers by the 357 now.
- the HH357 points to the need for atomizer innvation...

the AVA with its ceramic wick is interesting and good if you can get them going right (I like them with lots of voltage - it would not do on a 3.7 mod imo).

But i liked the Aero a lot on my b/f's... I now like the Vapage shi-fu BETTER
I find the draw is almost too tight on my XL though like someone else did. May be how it's set up; i got everything (atty, collar, top cone collar) all only as tight as need, and still slightly tight draw; could be some of the o rings not set right?
But that done (everything just lightly tightened) it's pretty acceptable.
Yes and it's the flavor that makes it better than the Aero. imo. which is what makes it closer to the HH357.

on my Reo Grand the draw is just right with no collars of any kind... still i like carrying the XL around in my car/truck (on the road) because it's nice and light and compact where the Reo Grand is a leeetle clunky and heavy.

If you take advantage of 50% it's steal. Not much of futz just put a hh357 1.5 ohm long barrel on it or maybe the new atty by vapage. If you splurge of the hh357 it kind of spoils you. You may never want to put any other atty on it.

I think the shi fu is so darn close in value to the HH357, i took advantage of the 50% and bought a BUNCH.

uke, as did I! I am very impressed with our new ShiFu Spec attys (atties). To me, this is definitely the closest to the experience of a 357 (which I also adore). Are you using the 1.5Ω or the 2s?

If anyone here wants to take the plunge, it's certainly a good time with the discount... that's fer sure!

AaaaaaaaaaandyThatcher, good post on the Kick assembly! I still haven't found the pics.

just an UNBELIEVABLE discount! (you can get an XL for the price of a Wetbox!)
I go 1.5 all the way Kat. I used stay away from 1.5 for the longest time, but for me now, when they're matched with just the right voltage (like all so-called 3.7 devices) they are hard to beat.

Got mine today, two days after ordering. I love dripping and it's my first bottom feeder, I kicked it with thin gauge copper and it's fantastic!
