You know the bottle for the 2.0 has the same thread on a smaller bottle, but it would look kind of funky:ohmy:

It would look funky and you'd have to stick your finger up inside to squeeze the .... wait a second .... that just doesn't sound right LOL!

Yeah the bottle has to be big enough (yet shorter by a tad) to still fill the opening used for squeezing.

I ordered everything ala carte, (said on website during sale that XL KIT was backordered.) I thought ordering ala carte would allow me to bypass that.........even though it costs me more. I received everything....except the battery charger, which I also ordered ala carte, but as it turns out, is not being shipped as it is backordered (which I didn't know). So I'm sitting here looking at stuff I can't use yet. :) I really should have waited for the kit, probably, instead of spending the extra $$ and ending up in the same place.

BTW, worth owning the 2.0 as well, or is everyone not due to bat life, etc.? It is pretty cute~

I feel the pain, hope you get your charger soon.

I opted for the xl for longer battery life... well, er... I thought I opted for the XL. But hey, I have the larger batts. Now to try to make them squeeze into the 2.0?

How long do the smaller batts in the V2 last for a chain vaper... usually?

I have both the V2 and the XL. Love the V2 as it is simply adorable, especially with it's Happy Hippie shell. It's super pocket friendly and just perfect for some occasions. But, I gotta say, it's the XL that is the workhorse. (I do love 18650 batteries.)

Someone was thinking maybe they weren't getting enough liquid, like it wet, etc. I'm thinking you might prefer Vapage 2.0 atty's...especially the ShiFu (slant coil). I've had a similar problem with 1.5 atty's on various devices -- and not at all with 2.0's. As always, YMMV.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Terribly cute. I have both and love the "workhorse" as coined by tearose, but also love the teeny-ness of the 2.0...

Have to say a huge +ONE on this. The 2.0Ω attIEs are preferential to me as well. I find the 1.5s a tad too hot. My mileage does vary.

I've had a Shifu on both b/f's and at first the Reo Grand had the best result due to more free air around the atomizer.
The XL was very tight and I loosened everything as much as i could; the collar and the outer cone. It was less tight and now I've gotten comfortable with it although there is a little too much looseness around the chassis overall.

The thing is that now after at least a week, the Reo vape is not full throated; it's a little less vapor and it's kind of dry and less flavor than at first no matter how much juice is in there. ......... gonna clean the Shifu and see if that's the prob.

On the other hand the XL has gotten better; gotten used to the draw and the vapor and flavor are fine.

Okay, just had to have the Kick in the Vmod XL so I used durgidog method and the 18490 AW IMR. It was incredibly easy. No soldering, no wires and no change to the Vmod chassis with the exception of having to move one foam bumper in the battery holder.

For those that are like me, the `show me`types, here are some pics.

Pic 1. Used a tool to help bend the right shape into a strip sheet of brass easily purchased at your local hobby shop.
Pic 2. Used a knife to cut the brass (scored it and bent it until it broke).
Pic 3. Made sure it fit snugly and did not protrude past the chassis anywhere. Trick here is to be absolutely sure that it makes good contact with the ground wire that runs up from the ground spring.
Pic 4. Test fit the Kick. Obviously has to be in a position that the ground spring on the Kick makes good contact with the brass sheet but take note that the potentiometer is positioned so that it prevents any accidental sliding upwards by ensuring it is under the chassis lip you see there.
Pic 5. Battery inserted awaiting your cover. BTW it is snug.

Still pondering here folks.

Just have to make a trip to Lowes or whatever the place is called as I have a cunning plan that shouldn't involve soldering and a secure connection to the Kick under the bottle. Will probably involve one piece of tape.

I am off work this week and my lovely XL is taking a week off. Has been thoroughly cleaned, not that it should need it.

Let us know when you find out what they are supposed to be! (THANKS for the Link)

I know a couple of threads that use them to mark key post numbers and we followed that tradition on Part I of this thread.

Also, when Part 2 started several of us posted links to the most current relevant key threads from Part 1 in the first few pages for future reference.

EDIT: I like "search ECF with Google" as tags aren't used much, or so it has seemed.

What's the plan Andy? How do you defy physical space? There is only 16.5mm of height under that bottle and no wonder which way you place the kick you need at least 19mm.
