I'm sitting here scratching my head and still trying to figure out what is going on.. oh well.. atleast I can Kick my other VMOD XL. :)

I don't think I have the skill level to execute this. That and I don't have a VMOD to sacrifice in the name of science. I'd love to give it a shot but I'd hate to ruin a DNA12 AND a Vmod XL lol. Looks good Smilee!! Pics with A7??

Just "kick" it, it doesn't mind, really:laugh:

I have one thats acting up as well:ohmy: It only want's to work in my XL, I take it out and put it in other mods and it wont fire, put it back in the XL, and well it fires:?: I don't know what is going on, my other Kicks work in the other mods:confused: I'm starting to believe my XL put a spell on this particular kick, so no way the other kicks are going near it:laugh:

Howdy folks,
I think I've read every post in both part 1 and 2. Kinda wanted to make sure I wasn't diving in and ending up over my head. I have a 650 twist, a lavatube and now..a VModXL on the way. Thanks for all the info you have generously provide in this and other forums.

Now, if I can just make sure my wife ain't around when it gets here.......I hate explaining stuff....

If only it was that easy.....wife and I have known each other since 1973, and have been married next month for 19 years. She's on to most of my tricks ( and the ones I get away with...I think she just pretends to believe them). She's still not completely on board with the vaping experience, even though I have been smoke free now for more than a month. She just up and quit 3years ago.

Well, I'm looking forward to testing out the silo and their hybrid atty, and I'm gonna order a few other attys to try and see what hits the spot for me. Time to dig around again and make sure I remember what ya'll had suggested to others to try....aero and .357 are all I remember, and based on the price, I think may have to wait just a bit, lol. I seem to remember 1.7 and 2.0 attys also, need to make sure.

Thanks folks,
Big Mac

I just received the new Kick in the mail today.. tossed it in the VMOD XL put in 1 of the 2 battery that won't fire earlier. Guess what?! It won't fire!! I was thinking that battery was drained so I put the battery in my Provari and bam! 4.2V fully charged! so went back to the new Kick thinking that the Kick received was bad. I tossed it back in the VMOD XL and use the battery that was working with the old Kick and it fires!!! (scratching me head at this moment..) so I thinking maybe the voltage was too high on the fully charged battery.. so I vaped on the Provari using the fully charged battery waited until it dropped the voltage down to 3.9V tossed it back in the VMOD XL with the old Kick.. guess what?! it fires!!! what do you guys think? the battery has created a memory causing the Kick not to fire? I'm confused!!! I'm sure It's not the Kick. I should receive 3 new 18490 AW IMR in the mail by the end of the week. troubleshooting continues!!....

I'd go with the 1.5 Hybrids if you're going to use a regular 3.7V 18650 battery. but If you're going to "Kick" the VMOD XL. you can play around more on different Ohms.

Ah that's a smart wife! Actually how that turns out, imo, depends on how it unfolds for you.
I quit smoking like a fiend, to vape like one...
I spend a lot more time on this HOBBY now and believe me it has become an obsession... ymmv.
I couldn't smoke in the house though, and my wife doesn't bug me... too much.

I still RAVE about the Hybrid AMG B/F's (don't know when the old stock of UNI's will be "slant coil" yet, so I drip on practically all my PV's with the B/F....
I won't bother with 2.0 or higher Ohm for the XL or any non VV device... 1.5 Ohm only.
I do get spitting but only the first few vapes when starting a new one...
I am an atty killer... they will gunk up and eventually go the way of, well, disposable atomizers.
I went through a dozen HH357's before I found these (the Aero too).
Mine last me only a couple weeks tops (some less) no matter what, because I vape the heck out of them, and that's with 4 or 5 devices going all day and eve.

Just be sure not to over feed them... i've been dripping for more than a couple years and you just have to apply the right amount of juice. Drip or bottom feed; two different means to the same end, except the b/f makes it a whole lot easier once you get the feeding down right.

Howdy folks,
Yeah, I did order the 1.5 hybrids, I saw everyone raving about them....well at least most everyone. I mean, how could I pass it up! I also picked up extra silos as most seem to like those also. Most of my experience has been with vivi nova minis and a dct tank, with occasionally dripping to test a juice.

Now to find the right juice to break her in. I have more unusable juices than I have ones I enjoy. Even the ones I like have seemed to lose their flavor half way thru a tank.

Yeah, this has become a consuming hobby that just happen to stop me from using 1.5 PAD. Started DIYing my own juices so now I'm walking the long road to try to become an apprentice mix master, lol.

Thanks folks,
Big Mac
