The Vmod XL 18650 Bottom Feeding Mod from Vapage - Part 2

Huge fan of the Vmod. BUT they have been without the smaller feeder bottles for almost 6 months. The unit is useless without the feeder bottles. I misplaced one and thru use my other bottle no longer screws into the mod.

They have no idea when they might be getting more bottles.

It is cute that they keep coming up with new add -ons to the unit but I would be wary of this company. From a 50% discount week (signs of cash flow issues in my opinion) to not being able to keep a core (as in the unit wont work and you can't find a replacement feeder bottle anywhere else b/c they are proprietary) inventory in stock.

Look vapage helped me get off regular cigs and I love them for that but I haven't been able to use my Vmod in 5 weeks, it is useless.

I'm right there with you, buddy.

They told me they would have them in a week well over a month ago. Really ticked me off since the ones that came with my kit broke really quickly. This was due to the bottle not butting up against the plastic chasis, and even the slightest squishysquoinky put pressure on where the threads met the bottle. Someone earlier posted that they put a velcro backing on theirs to prevent this. A buddy pointed me here: Vapage VMOD 2.0 Bottle 4ml Pack (2-pack). And guess what? These bottles DO .... up to the plastic chasis. I'm guessing a different revision? Anyhow, stocked up and able to use my expensive VMOD with absolutely no help or care from Vapage. Why couldn't they refer me to a Dragonfly instead of giving me ridiculous answers like "use the notify button"?

I love my VMOD, but don't care at all for the company at this point. Really disappointing.

I'm not sure why are you guys having these bottle problem.. I had more problems with the chasis cracking but they were replaced by Vapage right away. I'm still using the same bottle from my first set of VMOD XL. I guess I took a different approach by putting an o-ring on the bottle neck and putting a lining of tennis grip tape with double sided tape to pad the bottle against the chasis preventing the neck to bend and cause a crack.

If I had known the way the device was designed would break the bottles, I would have done something similar. I just took it out of the box and used it like I would any other product.

I wasn't even upset about the bottles breaking. I was upset about Vapage telling me the bottles would be in stock in a week and then over a month passes and they aren't in. I was upset that I spent a significant amount of money on something rendered useless with no recourse. I was upset that they sold plenty of stock to another company to resell and would not tell me about it. They would rather me have their product sit on a shelf and have an upset customer. I see no pride or good business sense in that.

Just thought I'd provide a bit of an update for those of you who have helped me along with your tips and suggestions. Over the course of the weekend, I have discovered that the less I actually think about what I am supposed to do, the more success I have! Actually, things have progressed wonderfully! I am so very pleased with my VMod XL! And I know it will only get better it starts to become more second nature to me. Thanks again to everyone! I know you cut my own personal learning curve down dramatically. I went back to about page 100 and re-read some of the threads and found answers to a couple of more questions, too.

Now to find that oh-so-elusive couple of juice flavors that I just can't get tired of! LOL.

I have a question for all you folks. I was cleaning the XL a few minutes ago, fill a bottle with warm water and hooked it up and squeezed. Was surprised by the squirt of water that cam shooting out, lol. As I looked down the throat into the juice area, there is a single hole facing upwards that the water shoots out of. I noticed two holes down inside a bit facing to the side, but no water, that I could tell, came out of them as I was flushing the chamber. So...what are this two holes?

Thanks guys, I'm doing the big clean up cause I'm loading up my steeped juice and gonna try the atty that came with the kit. I'll let yas know how it goes.

So, I guess what you're saying is I would have to take out my dentures, drill some holes in perfectly created teeth, add a paper clip to the mod, and THEN, hope for a connection with the aliens? Why not just take out the middle man and speak to MAX directly.....MAX....put the hat back on for better reception....I'm gonna make a collect call to ya, via my teeth and a paperclip.

Sorry, it won't fit, the Cannon is to wide to fit inside the collar. (just tested for myself on XL)
