I liked the 357's but loved the 1.5ohm shifu's. I don't use a kick. Cause, long story short my wife has my XL and she won't put it down...lol

Decisions, decisions ... there are great reviews for both the Cisco and the Shifu! Guess there is no way around it ... will have to order both kinds and do a comparison test for my own taste buds. In the meantime, I'm finding that my Joye 510 gold band 1.5 atty is putting out more vapor and as good a flavor as the atty that came with the kit. Who knew? If it just came through with more flavor (okay, MUCH more flavor!), I'd just settle with that one! However, flavor is king in my world so will have to spend some more dollars tonight, methinks.

Need a little A7 assist. Using the shortest 510/510 adapter I have the A7 still sits too high to hold the case on. I've got between an eighth and a quarter inch gap there. Is there a shorter adapter out there? Or are you using the orings or something to hold the case on?
I haven't tried one myself, but 1/8 to 1/4 gap? Hmmm. I imagine that you can find a perfect fit thick o-ring at your neighborhood hardware store that will allow the cone to hold the case tight. May not look too bad either if you find the right diameter. Might have to jam that cone on though. I haven't seen any kind of 510 adapter other than the usual 'shorty'.

For new xl (deep chamber) i use oring 5x1 between a7 and adaptor (not between adaptor and xl), for old xl i shorten adaptor with dremel about 1mm. I have adaptors from empiremods. For better feed i make 2 holes i adaptors in place like hybrid atty from vapage.

The craziest part? I used a piece of the bottom of a beer can for the ground circuit. LOL. Had it hot glued and functioning in less than 10 mins. I was kind of worried about voiding the kick warranty trying to incorporate with wiring, but this was a no-brainer.

It's looking real good. Still have a couple of hours of drying time to go. Will report back.
