One of the features of the XL and vmod2.0 is that you can use just about any 510 atty. 306's work quite well also.

I like the pro-spec Vapage AMG Hybrid BF on my Vmod(s) and have found it to be a consistently long life atty (several weeks) with a nice flavorful full vape, so well worth it (especially with the occasional sale). I also use the Hybrid Universal on other mods, even though it hasn't been upgraded to the pro-spec (shi-fu) yet. :) If you haven't tried this pro-spec atty -- do so, when they are back in stock for a nice treat.

The Hybrid has been greatly improved, as attested by many on this thread.

The other atty's most often raved about are the aero and the hh357----both premium attys.

Thanks for the reply. Well, I tried some 510 attys sold by other vendors, which is less expensive than Vapage. However, those were usually over 2.0 ohm attys and didn't work very well.

Try A7 Rebuildable atty with 510to510 unsealed adapter.
Form me its perfect, i dont buy any attys for 3 months :)

LR306 Low Resistance Atomizer 1.5 ohm (Cisco Spec) - Avid Vaper You will need the XL drip tip for use with the Vmod XL
AERO 306 Bridgeless Atomizer - Avid Vaper again, you need the XL drip tip
AERO 510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Avid Vaper standard 510 drip tip will work

Used all the above and 357's. Have a A7 as well but trying to kill a pair of Vapage Shifu's for the last 3 months and they will not die !

Have two XL's with one on each and they keep producing. Ohm checked them yesterday and both sitting solid at 1.5. One went through a week of 4.8 volt battery action....it wouldn't die. The other is permanently Kicked at 10 volts....it won't die.

Love the 357 however I doubt they will replace these Hybrids in my XL's. They have a vaping style based on sharp drawer to get the best out of them that isn't needed in any other atty or vaping device come to that. That learning curve isn't needed in the hybrid. Sheer cost comes into the equation as well. I must confess to being a bit of a rebuildable fan so not done with the A7 but need to pick up another 510/510 to play with that again as mine has gone AWOL but that can wait....till I have killed one of these Hybrids.

I bought 4 in September and still have 2 unused. So I am thinking when they are in stock will buy another 4 or so and that will cover my XL's for a year or so !
