Good Morning folks,

Howdy Kat! How are you this fine day?

Yeah, I don't know what's up with the 5v batts, cause I truly enjoy that vape. My Puck is the reason I wish to Kick the VMod. My Puck used to be a whole lot more shiny, but I kinda like the 'this mod is used daily' look on my puck. When I built it, had to do it a bit differently than everyone else, or it just wouldn't be me don't ya know.

I'm looking forward to working with silver and am wondering how I'll do with it, here's a small sample of some of the work I do with wire...

And last but not least by any means, the VMod:

So very good to speak to you Katdarling, being a SoCal boy, I alway have a spot in my heart for Cali Girls....they are the best.

Edit: what is it with photobucket, the pic is correct on their website, grrrrrr

Great Pics Big Mac! I esspecially like the carbon fiber. I've never heard of a Puck before, I'll have to do a little research, and you've got a talent with the jewelry, I'll look forward to seeing what you do with silver. I hope your atty's come in today, it's been known to happen :)
Have a great day.

Your pics look fine to me, so I have no clue what's up with the sizes on PB. You can resize them there, tho. And you can rotate them... ;) (Puck is upside down?)

Wow, that bracelet is gorgeous. You're obviously extremely talented and with all those wires coiling around everywhere, I'm sure we'll find you in the RBA arena soon.

And your VMOD looks awesome with its carbon fiber suit!!!

Ok, :toast: to you, Mac :)

Thanks Vince,

Yeah, I like the carbon fiber also. Thing is, that is now the third try, I keep getting a single bubble or a piece of grit of one sort or another that causes a small bubble under the fiber. I went down and bought a roll of carbon fiber stuff from O'Reillys auto. Not the same as what's was given to me, but it is a bit easier to work with, and it looks good. I'm happy with how it turned out. If ya want some Vince, since we are down the street from each other, will be happy to give you enough to fart around with. I bought a six foot by 8" long roll, so I have plenty to go around. Now to try to figure out the math to cut shapes for the cone, lol, I think that's gonna be a real pain.

Hi ya Kat,

Ya posted while I was writing up a thanks to Vince. Now, thank you Kat for the kind words. Yeah, the Puck is upside down, but right side up on PB. oh we'll, y'all get the idea. The puck is usually built in a plastic battery box, I just had to be different and put it in a copper tube, lol.

Glad you like the bracelet. Creating that kind of stuff or creating/changing just about anything (that includes PVs, I have 5 diff ones I have created) makes my soul whole. Yeah, I know it sounds corny, but it's true. I'll try not to wax poetic too often...lol.

Thanks again Kat.

Sounds tricky, but fun. I wouldn't even know where to start to figure out the math for covering the cone.... Hmmm. Yea, I'd love to give it a try, how about I'll trade you some of my copper peices. I have a bunch, and they're perfect size for the inside of the XL, just have to trim them a little. I'll talk to you a little later, thanks Mac:)

Well, back to business, this morning, from SuperT I ordered the kick and 3 x 18490s. With the ProSpecs ordered from Vapage, I'm ready to rock and roll, it's just a waiting game now.

Guess I'll get out the flavors and make some juice.

Big Mac

See yas tomorrow Vince

All good news Mac, you'll be so glad you did it. You make juice! Cool, I can pick your brain; mixing juice is my next chapter in this adventure known as vaping. :)
See yas tomorrow

Ok y'all seasoned VModians, VModites, whatever. LOL.

Question about these Vapage hybrid attys, and I'm sure it's been answered ad nauseum, but... what is the advantage/disadvantage of these little rubber seals on the bottom of some of the attys I have/seen? Is this something integral with the design of the older attys, or the newer ones? I have some that have the seal, and some that don't. They all seem to work pretty much the same. Was this something offered on the 'pre-Shifu' attys?

Howdy folks,

So I know I've read in this monumental thread somewhere, talks about the button. I know there are times that I am pushing the button very hard, hard enought to compress the spring under the battery. I took the cover off and watched. Sometimes I have to sort of push it at what feels like a small angle to get a good connection.

I think I have read that others have had the same problem. Has anyone done anything that has alleviated the problem for themselves?

BTW, my 490s and the kick came in today. Still waiting on Vapage Vmail for the ProSpecs. Tomorrow I think I'll sit down, add the copper strip (thanks Vince) and get everything ready. Gotta hit up OSH tomorrow and get me a rubber washer or oring to help stabilize the kick on top of the battery. Anything else y'all can think of that I should do?

Try alcohol (not to drink:)
Clean bottom of the switch, spring and battery connections.
... or install kick :)

Prep work... I'm going to add onto smilee's post, and say give the chassis a nice hot bath. Also, and I just did this to my VMods, replace the o-rings in the delivery tube if you can. I can't believe how mucked up and misplaced the old ones were. Sure woke it up a bit.

Joined the club a few days ago and wonder if I am ever going to get my tracking number. Had a couple things come in recently and lost track. Was under the impression it would be in yesterdays mail till I looked it up on the site. Still Processing. If it was out of stock I thought they would not allow you to order. I might have been wrong on that one. Really hope my flat tops are going to work. Have panny, and efest batteries. This could turn out bad

Ya. That's what I hope for. I had to say no to the Reo Grand when the coupon code came out. Considering how much it would be used, I think that I made a good choice. So I got extra bottles, o-ring kit, and extra low res hybrids. My hopes are high and I have heard all good things. If only I could contain myself from being in impatient vape child waiting for Santa the mail man.
The Efest's I have are flat but im sure I could have ordered them in button but I got flat. As much as I change things around I still some how ended up with 6 flat tops. Oh well. If I have to wait its no big deal. I have lots of other stuff on the way from China.

Put a magnet on it and you'll be fine(chassis is plastic so it won't short):2cool:
