The Vmod XL 18650 Bottom Feeding Mod from Vapage - Part 2

My power went out 4.5 hours last night and another 3 today. At least this time it was during the day. Last night was not fun at all. Could not find a flashlight but was happy to find a lighter and then a candle so I could find a flashlight lol.
I was able to do some much needed cleaning in my bedroom today while the power was out and under my bed I found a sheet of paper. Was a letter that came with my order stating the bottles where on back order and shipping later on. Kids must have ran off with it.

I feel like a douche for even bringing that up in that past post now, cause they did what anyone would appreciate, by sending the IMP part asap, as not to make a guy wait on the entire order. In the end I am happy with the service and the purchase, and have no problem waiting for the extra bottles.

One thing about getting those letters from Vapage- take a look at your order on your "My Account" page on the Vapage website and see if it says shipped next to the items that you did not recieve. Then send them an email ASAP asking when the other items will go out. I hope you don't have the problem I had. One time I only got part of my order, and I got one of those letters. When I enquired about it with Vapage by email they said that it showed that the items had been shipped in the computer, but they would "honor the reshipment and send it out". It took about 3 weeks for me to get my atty's and they never aknowledged that they had not sent them with the first package. I finally scan the letter and sent it attached to an email to prove it to them. In the end I got my atomizers, but it was a weird experience. Just a heads up, I hope it doesn't happen with your order. Other than an occasional hicup with CS Vapage has been a good vendor. I love my Vmods and the Shifu atomizers! I put a Kick in my Vmod XL and it's awesome. You made a great choice in going with the Vmod, and you are the only other person I've heard of getting one of those letters. I hope it goes well!!

If it says Processing you should be good. Hanging on to the note for a while couldn't hurt.

Howdy Guys and Gals,

I will say that our own Mr. ShiFu does read parts of the forum, I know cause I had the pleasure of receiving a PM from him a few days ago. Very nice discourse.

Thanks for the 'atta boys' folks on the leather cover, and the ideas. We do seem to have our lion's share of creative folks in this thread. The brown paper bags.....I had forgotten all about those. Branding the leather with a pattern or symbol instead of doing the normal leather working. Just simply coming up with how to kick a XL and in two ways none the less. The pics people have put up showing what they have done to the VMods (and a few sets of finger nails if I remember correctly). Yes, the creative side of the VModians.

As a side bar, and what has been said before, the use of the kick in the VMod makes it a different animal. One that's a little wild, but can still be tamed. Hope one of these days the VMod comes setup for a kick under the bottle that you can just slide the kick into and vape. Maybe we'll get a diff and better button at that time. With the kick above the batt, I haven't had a bit of problems with the button.

Y'all enjoy going to work tomorrow, I'm gonna sit here and work on my leather case. Cuss me if it makes the day a little easier.

I'm over in WEstern Arkansas, indeed, it was a VERY ROUGH weather day on SAT. My weather radio going bonkers w/tornado warnings, hail and monsoon rains, and power going on and off all day. They even had to close the track at Oaklawn in Hot springs on opening weekend, part of the track actually washed away.

You live in AR and don't have tons of flashlights, oil lamps, candles etc? Losing electricity is a regular event where I am..........so is having my cordless telephones blow up from all the lightning.

We had a lot of rain over the last week but nothing to crazy. My streets gravel and has two road crossing creeks that where not near as high as I have seen, but the ground is saturated. Our power line must be in need of upkeep cause almost every time it rains the power flashes or goes out completely. Never for more then an hour though. It went down again yesterday for 3.5 hours. I assume they had a temporary fix at 4am and the next day went for a more permanent fix.

Last night my internet went down at 8PM and just now came back up. This is getting old.

I'm loving this thing..the flavor is awesome and i can see why so many people are here on this thread. Its only been a couple of hours since i've had it but i'm loving it. Feeding it is pretty easy so no problems there..it feels great in my hand..i just love it!

I have a question for you fellow VModians.. what does it say on your atomizers? I have two kinds..one says:Hybrid UNI and the other Hybrid BF. I've been using Hybrid BF and its great so i guess thats the ShiFu that you've been talking about.

Here you go singu:

The uni (universal) has a golden band on it. It doesn't have the extra little holes that the BF has.

The Universal can be used on any 510 threaded mod and also works quite well on the Vmod.
The Hybrid BF is generally for feeders only.

Here's a pic of what the Pro Spec Hybrid (Shifu) looks like inside.

Someday all Vapage Hybrid attys will be ProSpec. It seems there may be some stock to be sold off first?

Hello again fellow VModians. Haven't been around for quite some time but wanted to drop in and say I am still loving, loving my XL! This is, hands down, the best purchase I have ever made in my checkered vaping career. Thanks again to all who piped in with help during my 'I got it now how do I make it work properly' stage. Bought four Shifu's right after I got this and still have two unopened ones waiting for me. These things are a beast! Gave one a cleaning and just popped it back on last night, primed it and it's ready to go again. Have found my 'forever' hardware ... now just need to find the oh-so-elusive 'can't live without it' juice! A much more difficult journey it seems.

Been reading through some back pages and ... hey, Big Mac! LOVE your jewellery and the leather cover!! A very talented manly-man you are! Glad you have found the joy again in your VMod XL.
