Okay.....So I placed a second order with wizard labs, mostly for flavors/bottles.....And I was hunting for a thread I swore I saw yesterday of recipes for fans of wizard labs..... Now I can't find it! I was going to basically list the flavors I got and see if the fine fans could come up with some combinations of these flavors and percentage ideas. can anyone direct me? Should I just go over to the diy recipe thread or should I create a new thread?

I just recieved my first order from WL. The packing was on the order of overkill and as a thank you gift they didn't send a couple of hard canies or a tronket I'll never use (I have nothing against hard candies). They sent a 3ml syringe with a blunt tip needle and nitrile gloves, now thats a thank you gift something you can use.

Wizard is a great supplier for DIY... WHEN they have ALL of what you want in stock at the same time. Now days the problem is getting it all on one order verses the excess shipping costs for multiple orders when you don't need enough stuff for the free shipping. That's what I did when I started DIY, bought enough from them to build my reserves of equipment and supplies and got free shipping. Now I can't find enough of what I need in stock all at the same time to buy the minimum for free shipping, not even close. So as much as I like them, other than for just flavors "sometimes" if they have enough of them in stock tobother with an order, I am starting to look elsewhere for smaller orders where they have all I want in stock at the same time to get them on one order for one shipping cost.

I haven't read any of this thread so this may be mentioned but I want to give props to Wizard Labs.

I have experience with handling hazardous chemicals as well as mixing and handling of them. I'm have already been doing DIY for a few months now. This time I ordered liquids only and my first order from Wizard Labs. Wizard Labs has no way of knowing my experience level. They included a syringe with blount tip needle and gloves in my order. That is looking out for the potential of someone who doesn't know what they are doing. I didn't need either but I appreciate the probable reason even if the gloves part was for their own protection (in a way).

Great vendor.

ETA after reading a previous comment - I also liked the packaging. If something went wrong with one bottle in shipping the packaging makes certain it won't ruin everything. Sometimes harder to get to is better.

Same experience here. I actually needed an extra and forgot to order one, so I was happy to see a syringe and needle in my order. I had some gloves already, but an extra pair never hurts!

How long does it usually take them to reply to a customer service request? I've sent them a request through the web form 2 days ago and haven't heard anything yet.

My experience is 2-3 business days.

True, their packaging is second to none. And the free gifts are a nice touch. But IMO you are reading into the free gifts what you want to read into them. They don't necessarily have the connotations that you are assuming, it's not being done especially for you consciously. WL has always included "something" cheap tossed in free as a thank you in my orders. They are picked by the packer and not always based value wise on how large the order is. IOW on larger orders I have got cheaper gifts than on smaller orders. Mostly they have just tossed in an extra flavor in my orders (sometimes a 3ml sample, sometimes a regular flavor vial), probably because all of the orders had flavors bought in them. On one later order they put in a 3ml syringe w/blunt tip, which was kind of strange in as much as that order already contained a dozen various syringes in 4 sizes and a dozen blunt tips in 3 sizes that already covered the same size of each they sent.

I agree that Wizard Labs tends to take wrapping their packages to the extreme, but at least I don't have to worry about what's inside when USPS, FedEx or the USPS man or woman decides to punt my package from their truck or bag to my doorstep because they're too lazy to walk a few extra steps and sit it down gently.

Yes, that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I have watched them toss and drop packages marked fragile WAY too many times in the past 7-8 years of doing business online and calling in doesn't do any good. It's almost pointless to even mark a package with some of the carriers, so if WL adds a few extra layers of bubble wrap and plastic, I'm A-OK with it. I recycle it anyway as it goes into the packages I use to pad things for my customers (non e-cig related), so it at least get's reused once :).

As for free stuff, it's free - I'm happy until I see peach flavoring in there and then I have to say thank you and quietly throw it away.

I really wanted to try WL products, so when they restocked their nic, I jumped on the chance to try it (as well as a bunch of flavorings). Packaging was excellent (thank goodness, b/c delivery companies around here are pretty rough with packages too). The freebies were a nice touch!

Conclusion, they rock!

Items delivered in a reasonable amount of time. The only tricky part is that many items on my wish list weren't in stock, so they'll have to wait until the next order.
