Is there a thread or a post with reviews/ratings of the flavorings for Wizard Labs? I'm having difficulty picking some of the flavorings because there is more than one kind in the same flavor. Like the caramel for example. What are some other must have liquids that help or mix well with other ones? I know cotton candy, marshmallow, vanilla, creams, caramel, and the smooth are good. Is smooth a tobacco flavoring or something else?

There's a "best of" listing at the top of the first page for DIY. I strongly suggest you first find some recipes you want to try and use them as a guide for buying flavors. It wont do you much good to stock a bunch of flavors only to find you are missing some to make recipes. Good luck

Argh they are out of the nicotine juice!! Just yesterday it was available but I didn't place my order because I wanted to research a little more. Hm... I've got itchy fingers though! I want to order the flavorings while they are in stock and perhaps order the nicotine and VG/PG from a different site?? Can anyone recommend a good one with reasonable prices? I wanted to get it from WL because their base is really cheap. Are their flavorings pretty much the same quality when ordering the same brand on a different site?

You can get WL nic at High Desert Vapes. Right now I think they're having a sale - 20% off. I just ordered 500ml a couple of days ago. Another bonus - HDV has a lot of good flavors, and they sell small $1.99 bottles. Nice for trying new flavors with minimal investment.

Some say VG nic base STORES better....not sure if that's in or out of refrigeration/freezing.....
I use 100% VG nic base from WL....and keep it stored in the 'fridge @ ~ 40*F.....
YMMV.....

Which sweetener is the best? I don't really need both the Ethyl Maltol and TFA sweetener do I? Or are they different? Are cotton candy and marshmallow viable as a primary sweetener or not really? I'm buying a little bit of everything but I'm mostly interested in making bakery/fruity type mixes.

Cotton Candy and Marshmallow are good sweeteners but will add some flavor. That can be good and bad. EZ-Sweetz works best for me.

Here is a description of Ez-Sweetz:

Even though it is made from Sucralose it doesn't have the after taste that other sweeteners have. I wouldn't say that it adds body, it just adds sweet to your juice without the after taste that other sweeteners have. It's all I use anymore.

Thanks, bookmarked! I'm about to place my order at Wiz labs... I didn't want to go overboard with the flavorings but I kinda sorta did. I'm not sure if I want to tone down my order or just hit the $65 mark to get the free shipping. I mean, I can easily add about $50 worth of stuff but then the shipping is like about $8 and for a few dollars more I can just get more stuff (that would really be excessive) and get free shipping.

What supplies in what amount would I need? Some stuff is out of stock so... yea. Would I need both pipettes and syringes? Obviously syringes seem more accurate and exact but pipettes can be useful too, no? I wish they had smaller glass bottles than 30ml, I will probably make very small batches to test stuff out in the beginning. Is it safe to store the nicotine, PG, and VG for a long time in the bottles they come in or should I transfer them to the 120ml glass bottles? I am a fairly light vaper who doesn't go through a lot of liquid so this stuff will literally last me forever. I sorta went overboard with the "creamy/vanilla" type flavorings too... All of those are great flavorings in my experience. Personally I like vanillin the best for use as a general 'vanilla' note. Whip cream is very mild. Cheesecake is DELICIOUS.

You don't need any pipettes. I have a bunch of them that I don't use. He will send them for free anyways. Get 5+ 1mL syringes, 5+ 10mL, and 5+ 20mL. If you mix certain flavors it will chemically melt the syringes and you will need to discard them because they start to lock up.

I just keep my PG/Vg in the big gallon plastic containers they came in, inside my refrigerator. I transfer 250 mL into plastic WL jars and keep that out for mixing. You don't need to put PG/Vg in glass, only nicotine.

I agree with purelyscientific that all those flavors are good (except the cheesecake, which I don't have), but watch out for the white chocolate. It's delicious, but it has sugar in it, and it clogs things up pretty quickly.

Get some more bottles, 30ml and 60ml, and get some 1ml and 20ml syringes. You never have enough bottles and measuring small quantities is far more accurate with a 1ml syringe.

Wow this is a long thread, I started from the beginning and a week later i am at the end, lol
i have been using WL for quite a while, I order my nic from them 1 gallon at a time 100mg and sample flavors from them but then after i have a flavor I like I go to the source of that and order a much larger quantity 8 oz to 1 gallon depending on how well it comes out.
I too want to thank WL for all there great service to me and I love the free gifts as well. there is a wealth of information here thanks to all of you keep up the good work.

How long does it usually take them to reply to a customer service request? I've sent them a request through the web form 2 days ago and haven't heard anything yet.

It's been almost 3 weeks now and I still haven't heard anything from them.
