If you don't have a mill I would do a simple constructed box. Like a jewelry box.Oddly enough, it wasn't the electronics that I was worried about. I know I can do that. My worry was whether or not I can carve the Ironwood.![]()

Nope, no mill. Most of my woodworking (or metal) tools are for large things (like building cattle fence, stalls, etc.), so I have a table saw, a few circular saws, sabre saws, bandsaw, scroll saws, drill press, lathe, grinders, disc sanders, belt sanders (yes, I do have a random orbital sander too)... but if I want to go small, that's where the Dremel and it's thousand tiny bits come in.If you don't have a mill I would do a simple constructed box. Yup, I can do dat.
That would work well. Big forstner for the hogging and a small one for the cornersMy as yet unworked out plan is a block of 8/4.
On band saw resaw battery door off.
On DP with Fostener bit hollow insideout.
Going for the "billet" wood look.
ohhhhhhhhhhhh so somehow this is where I quoted this.Well that wasn't easy, I used a hairdryer to take the carbon panels off, along with a craft knife and some guitar plucks, it came off so good that I can use them again if I wanted. Cleaned all the mod up and carefully placed those Abalone sheets on, man, I nailed it. If they look a bit off in the picture they ain't, if anything, the alum housing is a little off. Lovely greenish, yellow, goldish color to them but on the picture on the left, the sun caught the abalone and I managed to capture the picture, oh wow, this thang is flash. I don't usually like these colors but me loves this mod now, what a difference those panels have made. Boom, respect to dat.
hehehe well it's still beautiful!! put more of a message on the other thread lol wow......that's beautiful! Hope they put at least some if not all of the rest of that in a museum or sumpthin so folks can see it. Amazing you got some of that.An extinct olive that grew in Zimbabwe and was found buried in the red clay.
sorry ya don't like yur Reo. What kind do you have? Does it have the new contact and adjustable 510 pin? For some folks that makes a difference, for some it doesn't. They also have the p-67, although we're waiting for another run that has a side fire button. But again that may not make a difference for you. If I'm going out, I make sure I have a full juice bottle, and check the batt. If it's gittin kinda low I don't mind taking others with me, or I'll just pop a fresh one in before I leave. For me that's much easier than having to take a charger along and trying to vape while it's charging, or take two mods or whatever. But different strokes. So now to deal with what I hate about the Reo. Hate hate hate hate the top fire button. Hate it. Did I mention I hate it??
No battery gauge. Fine for around the house but useless everywhere else. I will not carry extra batteries. Back when I used mech I dam near wore a Bat utility belt. The Dripbox had USB charging which while not idea makes it at least useful. Either way I hate the variable vape of a mech. I like same thing every time.
Not that I can get one now but, was recently looking at Reo's site and saw the P-67 with the side fire. They look great to me, never been a sqounker but have wanted one for a while. Ill hafta look out for the new ones you mentioned! Even top fire with a Button Cover would work for me.ohhhhhhhhhhhh so somehow this is where I quoted this.hehehe well it's still beautiful!! put more of a message on the other thread lol

he's also got some budget ones and blems that are cheaper. He's such a perfectionist that even with a blem you're very unlikely to find it. You can always email him or call him to see if he's got any blems that aren't listed, sometimes he does. Just found out he's got two more small runs of p-67's coming up. One will be available June 24th, then another about 5-6 weeks after that. This thread is a good one to watch. Yeah the button covers help a lot. Some day I do want a p-67 I love the shape of the woodvil, and it's just much easier on my hands. They also have some easy squeeze bottles that are wonderful!! If ya have any questions, lemme know!

that's great!!Half of it is at the University of Zimbabwe in Harare. It was found by a farmer who sold it to my friend who kept half and gave the rest to the university.
