beautiful! it's wonderful you can do things like that!
With the right tools it's easy. I want something that fits my hands perfectly.

Well, summinagun! My Slowtech order from a month ago finally shipped! I knew if I was patient, it would ship eventually. ;) We ended up with four separate orders last month, and the other three got here pretty quick, but the two Evic mini mods were on pre-order, so I knew they'd take a while, but sheesh! They're finally on their way, though! :)

It is easy if you know how to also use the right tools.
Good point.

Other day I was doing an inventory and cost of replacement estimate for insurance. I told the insurance guy 'Never... Never ever let my wife see this'

He chuckled and said "I understand :D "

Kayfun 5 clone built with metal tank at 1 ohm and running at 20w.

This a nice tank. In fact if it wasn't for the fear of the always present Kayfun dry hit I'd say it was a great tank.

The build deck is super nice.

Its a HUGE TANK!!!! I mean frickin' HUGE.

Just can't trust a Kayfun, clone or authentic. Lets see if trust can be earned.

I'm getting closer...
rbC20zEl.jpg

Sorryfor the picture quality... Janky Camera has much Janky!

During the whole temp control initial period i was not impressed. The vapes always seem to be muted and muddled flavor from the Ni and Ti coils. With all the good I been hearing about the SS316L wire I went ahead and ordered some and gave it a try. I built some coils and tried it and liked it, then I heard it works good in TC so tried that too and gotta say I was impressed. Good crisp flavor from it.
At the same time this was going on I got the two Pico's I ordered in, tried them and wasnt impressed because a single 18650 battery just dont last long vaping at 50 watts. So I put the Picu's in the "yeah they work but dont plan on using them unless emergency" box.
I was so impressed with the 316L wire that I ordered some SS coils for the tobeco Supertanks that I like and when they showed up I found out I ran into a snag. With my M80's, IPV4's, Xcube II, EvicVT, snow wolf, they would do TC but all were pre SS316L wire era, so now what.
Out comes one of the Pico's and it will do TC with the 316 wire so its back in the line up. Now I gotta say I am kinda impressed with the pico. It is small which I like for it can ride in a shirt pocket without any problems, and with it set up for 50 watts, 400 degree it will last almost two full tanks which for me is most of the day. Only thing I dont like is when the battery indicator is showing about half full it will get really really warm when chain vaping.
So now I went from not liking TC to doing TC on these set ups and loving it.
Kbox 120 with Boreus (butterscotch)
Pico with supertank (mango)
Cuboid with supertank KS (unicorn milk clone)
NeBox (banana nut bread)
NeBox (Cappuccino)

Funny how a persons vape style can change on a whim. I have a Kbox 120 and another Pico still new in the box that I had saved for the vapapocalypse that I am thinking of getting out and putting the other Boreas on the Kbox 120(blueberry cinn crumble) and a supertank (strawberry donut) on the other pico.

And yes, I do like a large variety of flavors thru-out the day :)

You need a DNA 200, Rixy said so. ;)

Vaping journeys are funny, I was a pre built coil hoe, never built my own, too much trouble, hated TC, I'm a kanthal guy. Now all I vape is SS 316/7L Claptons in TC mode on my own dual coils, ha, I refuse to vape a pre made coil, I have grown to hate them and all my tanks that took pre mades all went up for sale three weeks ago and I sold the lot of them. Every single one. All I have is RTA's and RDA's. Oh, tell a lie, I still have my Subtank Plus..

Grain of salt and all that, since I haven't actually tried it, but the Xcube II should be able to handle SS316L if you have updated the firmware, I believe.

I build my own coils too and started rebuilding the supertanks coils but I want a bunch of them on hand for when the FDA bans them so am still buying them.
I like claptons as a situation coil. Some juices its good, some become harsh with a Clapton. Yet you can never go wrong with a plain jane wrapped coil. They always work and taste great.

I havent updated it and I heard its a lot like the RX200 when it is updated. It will in theory do 316 TC but in reality its iffy. My RX200 seemed like every time I picked it up it was asking if it had a new coil and then would kick itself out of TC and not go back into it unless you changed the coil, reset it and then changed it back. moueix was telling me they dont like TC coils below .4 and mine was acting up with a .36 coil.
