Position does not matter. You just want to wear them out as a pair. If you have a charger that shows the cell voltage just keep an eye on the voltage each cell has when the charge starts. If one starts to be much (0.2-0.4V) different than the other stop using them as a pair.
Thanks for clearing that up, me was talking out of it then ;)

Spaced Claptons are better, that is my science, dam good vape.

mine doesn't have voltage, but I do have my DMM. I ordered the sammy 30Q's before I left, so will keep an eye on them.

The squonk side, ah, good enough !
Don't worry, not giving up my tanks, and one of these days I'll get around to trying a 100+ watt build.:D

awesome!!! How do ya like it!!!
Love it. Still gotts figure out the best build though. Not crazy about the atty that came with 'em, so right now running 2 Velocity minis. Built one with 26ga Kanthal, single coil straight up the center (between the posts) about .8ohm, the other with dual stainless at .25ohm. (before anybody questions it, yes I made sure I'm safe, still only pulling less than 17 amps at full charge) The first one with a Cherry Vapes Ming drip tip, the second with the chuff cap.
The SS almost burns the juice until the battery voltage drops off a bit, after awhile it starts to taste good, just not so much when the battery is full. The other one tastes pretty good through the whole battery life, but is missing some of the flavors that I get from the SS. So I may try a single SS coil next, not really sure if that is the right approach either though.

A DMM will work fine. Check the cells right after you take them out of the mod. Then let them settle (rest) for at least 10 minutes before you put them on the charger.

I ordered one of the coolfires that takes the 18650 bat. Can't wait. :)
    oh kewl!

kewl! My SS wire came while I was gone too, so later will have to rebuild my good derringer. They aren't lighting up together, so had to go back to the one I had a kanthal build in. Sure miss the SS

jup, always do that. I rotate 6 in my Reos, so when I grab the 5th or 6th batt, I go charge the first 4

Yes, rotate them, one will pull slightly more than the other.......is it the one closest to the 510 that pulls more or am I talking out my ...... I rotate them anyway :)

How do I keep track of THREE? o_O

Oh, good. Mine usually are within 1 or 2 hundredths of each other if they're not reading precisely the same.

BUT, I have not been doing this ^^^! I thought I finally knew what to do, and here I am, still bumbling around... I will hereafter let them rest for a while before putting them in the charger. I've only charged the A set twice, and the B set once so far, but from now on, I'll let them rest after all their hard work. Just like me. :)

Good to see you sweetie!! I always let mine rest before and after I charge them. the way I rotate them it just happens naturally, but I would specifically do it, if it didn't

I always rest my batteries AFTER charging (and I have a rotation system, too, so they get a full day of resting, usually), but I never knew I was supposed to rest them BEFORE charging. You learn something new every day around here! :)

    Those batteries need their rest.
    dissipating electrons is very tiring.

lol ... actually the internal resistance of a battery increases as it ages due to chemical reactions from the electron flow.... The higher the internal resistance, the greater the voltage drop of the battery.

Oh, where are my manners????? GOOD TO SEE YOU, TOO, DEB! (I'm in a zombie state today, so everyone will have to cut me a little slack! LOL!)
thanks hun........me too. Brain is very fuzzy. Was up 50 sumpthin hours........ last night after supper I fell asleep on the couch with my napkin in my lap, my mod in my hand, and my puppy dog by my side. Woke up the same way, cept I'd dropped my Reo on the floor lol

So is the voltage drop worse at 1 ft or 3ft?
electron dissipation is in inside joke around here btw.

yes, I know it's a joke silly one ..... I just felt like spitting out some factual data (quirk of mine) .... To answer your question, it would be worse at 3 ft. :w00t:

Doesn't really matter since it would have to come back uphill anyway.

lol .... actually it would depend upon which medium the electrons were flowing through......... The resistance of the medium would not change but the electrons would be acted upon by gravity even though it would be infinitesimally small..... Electrons have extreme power and kinetic energy and as such the effects of gravity would be very very small and not measurable by any standards available. But being particles with mass then gravity would have an effect on them as it does everything else.
