I have a slight modification to the design now very similar- Its sturdy and still decently small 1.25 thick by 3.7 tall by 2 wide. I am in the process of making thirty of them. You will have the choice of any combination of these woods (Zebra, Pakuak, Tulip, Purple Heart, Wenge) You can pick three woods (one for the lid, the body, and the ends). It will have a few inlay choices as well (included) in the price of 85$ just the mod. As an option I am going to bundle it with a charger, an 18650 battery, a low res atty, an anodized drip tip for somewhere about 110 $

Any chance of getting the mod in all one wood type on this run?

I gave an answer and then I took it down figuring some folks were fishing for thier own design info. You dont see pictures of reo or ali'i feed systems on their websites. But I can tell you it is sealed with a seal. What do you want to know exactly I will be happy to entertain questions.

Oh I see. I missed those pics.

I understand your concern.

I just watched your vid again. I'm good with what I saw :)

Good luck with your device.

Tom,

Why is it that 3 magnets need to be used for 6v when 2 x 3v batts are the same size as an 18650. it seems to me this is a safety issue having to use 3 magnets to stack batts as well as why when 2 x 3 volt batts are the same size as an 18650 batt 66-67mm ? am I missing something here ?

I was thinking that same thing after watching the video.

There are some smaller sized 3 volt batteries that may not take up all the room that an 18650 takes such as the two ultrafire 15270's as pictured in the video. Other mods have used this same style adaptation and offered extra magnets with them just as a courtesy use as many as needed or in case you lose some. If your batteries fit, then you will not need to use them. The largest 18650 3000mah fits snug.

I dont like that MX, I also dont like the fact that it has a needle feed bottom system and we cant get a picture of it, I looked at it in the video though and stopped the video and got my picture that way, not for me !

Yeah thanks for stopping by, I am not looking to hide anything from you or anyone else. Its a nice-... box and it works well and you can get your money back if you got one and don't like it. I'm here to promote my honest hard work and that's about it.

Tom I saw you didn't want to post your pics of the inside of the feed system, I don't know why, as far as the Ali'i and the Reo the modders have nothing to hide, and there are many pics on there thread that people have posted of the entire inside of the units, both of them. As far as buying a mod it is important to me when stacking batts that there is a safety factor and 3 magnets dont have that in my honest opinion, if an 18650 trustfire 2500 mAh works or an AW works then I would think you wouldn't need 3 mags but for some reason you do, also the feed system is very important to me, I want to know what I'm purchasing for a hundred and some bucks but you don't seem to want to answer these questions or show pic's and I don't know why, as soon as people get these mods there going to post pics anyways, so why not show and have full disclosure to the people interested in buying your mod I don't understand, nothing about stopping by, more about full disclosure in my opinion and being honest as a retailer !!! Personally I have owned as many mods as anyone on this forum probably or in the top ten I would bet, I want to know what Im buying especially with a feeding system, is that a problem, I'm not sure, but like I said I have owned many of them and want to know now before I purchase, not have to guess what it is I'm buying when spending that kind of money. I want a top notch quality mod when spending this kind of money, I hope yours is I really do, and time will tell as people will want to do full reviews of your Mod, but them not knowing what there getting EXACTLY I don't like, I am the kind of guy who will wait and not buy on impulse that's all, the reviews on this forum will stand tall and will tell everyone exactly the quality of your mod and whether it's tops or poor, I hope its tops and you do really well I really do, again I just want to know about it a bit more and see exactly what others are buying

are you using cr2's or are you using AW 3V ? Tenergy 3v ? all as I saw in the video are 3 mags and you say if you want 6v this is how its done, it would be nice to know what Batts work and which dont especially if magnets are not needed, heck maybe there not even needed here and that would also be great

I bought two 3.7 volt ultra fire batts when I first started out last month they are 15270's protected. They are 28.9 mm each.
the only ones I own. The mod you saw is 71mm inside battery comptmnt. my 18650 is 68.2mm I need to post which batts work perfect inside the mod. I didnt figure is was a big deal. You proved me wrong. That is how I had observed others "doing it" on videos about the journeyman and someone even used foil.

Usually when people like yer stuff they say hey I like yer stuff but I have some questions. I would have been responsive to that position. You never asked me any questions. I interpreted that as very negative tone...

A little background...I made these 6 mods..the ones in the vid....they took me forever to figure out and design as simple as they are. My foray into box mods.. I make pens and furniture for fun... Sold Two ...I don't really expect to sell them until I get a review with videos....I don't care if these four I have left sell..What do you charge for something that took 10 hours to make a single box.. What I want to do is get exposure for the next round of mods that are being made now..I figured out how to make em' faster. They will be 85 bucks.. you will see every nuance of the inside. Who is going to buy something that they don't know about? No One..

I promise you I will make you a believer...

I hear you Tom, they just want to know what makes your mods tick. You are new to this forum so people are going to have some questions for you. I think once people hear about the quality of your work-the mods will sell themselves. I am also a collector and have many mods including 6 Phidias wood feeders-the cadillac of all wood mods! You have a tough competitor in Fono and his Phidias. I ordered your mod because I liked what I saw in the video and you obviously know your woods. I understand you're a noob also but you seem to have a great talent. In 3 days it will be a whole year for me since my last cigarette and so much has happened in that year including many mod purchases. But I do not have the talent to make my own mods like you do so you have an advantage. I will review your mod when I receive it and keep in mind that I will compare it to the Phidias and to the Reo Grand which I also own-these are the 2 most popular bottom feeders on the market IMO. Many people's questions will be answered at this time- I will be honest in my first impressions of your wood mod and make some suggestions if needed. I will not give praise to a product that is not well built and attractive-I do not care about a builder's personality other than honesty, if they can build a superior product I will buy it and probably many of them-one for each day of the week even! Ask the Phidias crowd-lol. The other important quality that customers desire is service and response-will you back up your product 100%? This is a tough crowd and your success will depend on your response, only time will tell. I am looking forward to receiving your mod tomorrow hopefully!
