Definitely appreciate the firm resolve.Well I just signed the petition, even though the page wouldn't load properly in my preferred browser (Pale Moon) and I had to use one of the 'big 3' (IE, Chrome, Firefox), which is usually reason enough for me just to ignore the page and close it.

I think zoiDman is stroking out.huh?
I hope not, he's a great sounding board.I think zoiDman is stroking out.
When I originally signed I didn't have my wallet with me. How do I get back to the donate page without signing again?
Not getting into the "common knowledge" part but Faircloth says he has the ins to actually meet with lawmakers in person, and that they asked him for something tangible, like a stack of signatures(even online ones). Just passing along what I've been told. This actually causes me concern about both the CASAA AND the Senator.
It is common knowledge that No One "in power" pays ANY attention to on-line petitiions. Same for you just cutting and pasting some form letter and typing your name to it.
An email from you in your own words to the party in power or a phone call to their office is supposed to be much more effective.

He's not a member of congress, he's a West Virginia State Delegate, just to clarify. Someone on FB said he comes from an influential family, but I haven't looked into that. My thinking is, it can't really hurt. He also just retained a lawyer. He says that as a policymaker he can attack this from a different angle than consumer and industry groups. I say we try everything and see what sticks.Point taken Less.
He's the Only member of Congress I've seen with his own petition on this.
Happily signed.
Thanks.
