Oh go ahead and say whatever you intended to. You know you want to.

Nope, I am keeping my lips sealed. You already told me you have a trick and will not tell me about it.

I also know I need to shut up at times because you already said. "You will be punished :D" You have gone Domme on me.

I'm with BTD on this, i'd take the '65 Mustang in a heartbeat (though unfortunately my budget runs more towards Hondas).

The status that comes with driving a classic American muscle car wouldn't kill me, but what it's really about for me is the look and feel of a beautiful piece of design and engineering...just like with the ProVari.

I look at it the exact opposite, Tina...I actually enjoy when people put down the Provari!

I like the exclusivity of the device, the "family" that we have within those who own one, each of us knowing how fine of a piece of equipment it is.

I don't want everyone to have what I have. The more that people like him trash talk our device, the less chance I have to worry about bumping into someone else that has the exact same device I have.

Not a single time have I ever felt the need to defend the fact of how good a device the Provari is. The device speaks for itself.

Besides, how can you even take the guy seriously when he makes this statement:
Imagine buying a '65 mustang... Built to the old standards, recently. You just have to ask yourself if you want that, or to buy a modern Acura or Honda today for a fraction of the cost. It's all a matter of taste, and how much you are prepared to spend.

That doesn't even make sense.
What Honda or Acura can you buy today that costs a fraction of what a 1965 Mustang costs in 1965?

A new member asking about a Provari and people giving nice, honest opinions and then comes post #23. It just gets on my nerves so much. This group is some of the kindest, most generous people I know and I hate when people say these things. I feel like a mama bear.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/531971-whats-so-great-about-provari-3.html

We get all kinds here, but I have noticed lately that we seem to have more newbie "experts" than normal. To be honest, I dont really listen to anyone with less than 200 posts other than to offer them advice. Its not always an indication, like in your case, but join date is a factor as well. Nothing cracks me up more than seeing someone with a join date of this month arguing with someone who's been here for 4 years.

People can pretend they know what theyre talking about all day long but that doesnt make it so and in the case of those new people harping on a Provari, theyre just shooting their own selves in the foot IMO.

I understand. I was vaping before I posted here. I'm not much into public forums but you've all grown on me.

And my previous post wasnt directed at you, youre the exception rather than the norm.......and of course it goes without saying that it doesnt matter how long some people have been here or how many posts they have, it still wont fix stupid. :)

What irritates me the most is when people accuse us of loving our Provari because of the name. Like I'd really fork out the cash for something all because of the name. It took me weeks to hit the buy button the first time around but people who've never held a Provari or tried one want to tell others why we bought them. I only try to tell people my opinion based on my own experience but it seems that so many of the repeat offenders seek out Provari threads to do nothing more than try to bash us for being happy with our choice to buy one. I think that says a lot about their character. I often think that they might need more nicotine or a better PV...hummm Provari anyone:evil:

Provari mod? Don't have one, don't want one, but I've tried the device and it vapes great, feels great and looks great. As a matter of fact, almost every device I've tried at one time I liked in some regard.

Is a DNA based device better than a Provari? Is Mortons better than Ruth Cris? Is Burger King better than Macdonalds? Is Ruth Cris better than Macdonalds? Is Provari better than Burger King? LOL

As long as you are enjoying your own vape, your own device, your own topper and e-juice, that's what the BEST setup is going to be.

If you keep that in mind, doesn't matter what the majority or minority says is the best, but it sure is entertaining though ;)

Avoidance of The Flame
Chapter one
Verse one

Despite the Blessed ProVari being one of the most marvelous devices on the planet, it is strongly recommended not to suggest it to other vapers unless they have expressed genuine interest. Otherwise, it is fodder for the rabid AntiProVarians and will only subject us to further abuse and satiric chants of Just Get a ProVari!

Verse two

Threads with titles similar to, "What's so great about a ProVari?" "When will Version 3 be released?"and "How is a ProVari better than XXX?" are not considered expressions of genuine interest. All of these topics and more have been debated ad nauseam and the information easily found. Unwillingness to use a search engine suggests unworthiness to be a member of the ProVarinati.

Verse three

There is no need to extol the virtues of our Beloved One, her gifts are legend. If a person is destined to receive a ProVari, it will happen without our encouragement. One does not just "get" a ProVari, one is called.

Verse four

If an unenlightened vaper insists that The Blessed One is outdated and inferior, thou shalt allow them to buy a junk mod – or even 5 junk mods - without comment, as that is what they stated they intend to do. Some people must suffer to learn and thou shalt not stand in their way.

Verse five

Thou shalt use discretion when prosthelytizing to AntiProVarians, least thee convert an unrepentant who might acquire an OOS color combination or limited edition being sought by a current member of the ProVarinati.

Verse six

When confronted by AntiProvarians, meditate upon this parable:

There once was an AntiProVarian who started a forum thread disparaging our Beloved One. He publicly ridiculed ProVari owners, calling them status seekers. He laughed and posted that when we say the vape is better in a way that is difficult to describe, he called us delusional. When we invoked the words of St. Busardo, he accused us of posting positive experiences only to justify having spent too much money. He extolled the superiority of VW and claimed that ProVape would be shut out of the market if they didn't upgrade the ProVari to include that feature.

To his rebuke a middle-aged, female ProVarinati mystagogue responded:

The ProVari does what it does, and it does it well. When people talk about it not having this or that feature they want in a device, they don't want a ProVari and should buy something else. You have to keep in mind that ECF isn't the whole vaping community and the number of ECF members who would only buy a ProVari with different features is smaller still.

Vaping hobbyists are not ProVape's target customers. Their target customer is someone like my friends, who bought ProVaris because they liked mine. It's a simple device that works consistently, can be fixed if something goes wrong, is made in the US and comes in pretty colors. What motivation does ProVape have to go through the cost of r&d to develop a new product for an already saturated market? My friends don't know a watt from a wallaby, but will likely buy more ProVaris for back up.

Verse seven

A suggestion of non-engagement was put forth by Sir Bernie, the Benevolent. If the ProVarinati does not respond to provocation, AntiProVarian posts and threads can be reported:

"Posting something deliberately inflammatory - either to start a "flame war" or simply to cause difficulties for the Moderators." (Just one of ECF rules against such behavior)

And so, it is recommended that if thou discovereth a Thread of Flames, thou shalt post:

as a sign to the ProVarinati to let the thread burn itself out.
