I never post or talk about vaping except here on ECF. I get more criticism for vaping in public than I did when I smoked cigarettes smh

I do realize it! But I was referring to honest doctors (and I may add "true" doctors) understanding such term as those doctors (physicians) that really care about their patients and have a real healing vocation. Those are a few.

I'm aware I will be burned in the stake just for making these statements: My very personal opinion regarding medicine is that it is more of an art than mere science. Of course scientific knowledge is necessary but I believe a doctor has to be a real healer using all the tools available to cure the ill, including BUT not limited to scientific knowledge. I see most of today doctors just as technicians applying formulas and rules they find in books and journals but without understanding that we humans are more than flesh and a product of chemical and biological reactions.

Tom, you are correct, Allopathic medicine is in the business of symptom management, quite the opposite of curing and healing, to find the latter you must take the step outside the camp ( Monopoly if you will) and find answers....... Eventually the concept of" burn,cut,and poison will pass , just not for now.....There is way too much money in it and most people aren't interested in truly seeking health and wellness

I see a couple of the "We get it, you vape" memes in my feed a couple of times a week. I they're funny. I would hazard to say that non-smokers just don't understand the difference. When my mother saw me vape for the first time, she told me how dangerous it was. This, of course, stems from the negative press. I tried to get my brother to switch and his response was, "Why would I switch to something worse?". The old saying is still true. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

I can lead plenty of horses to water.

I was also surprised at the strong sense among the panel that vaping is an evil gateway to lure children to smoking. They practically forced the nominee to assure the panel that he would be strongly against vaping products being sold or distributed in any form. I think this is a losing battle for us vapors.

I watched that exchange. Yes, they seemed very concerned with keeping children away from eCigs, and rightfully so! There was nothing I heard that made me feel adult's rights were being threatened. Right now, if I were to give cigarettes to a minor I would be breaking the law. It should be the same with regard to vaping.

Well, at least, that is their plan. Then there is the public's inclination to do whatever the fark we want. Guess who wins? But you're right about corp gov…if left to their own devices. Meddlesome old witches and pompous assess, devious misers all. They play to all of our worst vises and frailties for consent. So generous in their concern for our well being.

Before every hoser with a metal shop in their garage started making tube mods and hawking them on facebook, vapers made them from "modified flashlights".

Yep, the bic lighter, disposable lifestyle folks will feel some pressure, but vaping isnt going anywhere unles the FDA pulls the plug on Nic base.

God I wish I had started vaping sooner so I had more time to stockpile. Sometime, hopefully this year, I'll have a big payout coming from some real estate stuff/my dad passing away and a giant pile o' nic is on the shopping list.
