If you don't make your own juice - you soon will! Cloud-chasing is the fastest way i have found to rip through batteries and juice!

I don't care, since i'm never far from either, but as a trucker you may have to be a little more circumspect on those long trips ;)

Whole different ball of cheese isn't it? (i think that's what Americans say)

Vape Mail ! My new Toys arrived ! Woo Hoo !
Super X was right, this is a Lung Hitter's Mod. Trying to M-T-L vape this device is a waste of time and money. I personally set up two 2.4 ohm coils (1.2 ohm total) and am currently running the RM5 at one to one and a half turns open. Best Flavor I have found yet. Two to two and a half turns open seems eerily familiar to the RM2 for flavor, only a lot more vapor. Wide Open is for Cloud Chasing, but I can fill the room with a single vape. I prefer the one to one and a half turns open for the Flavor !
However, over tightening the post screws can snap the 29g wire I am using in half. Juice seem to 'weep' from the Variable Air Flow ring, and I don't think this RBA drains as well as the RM2. These last issues could be due to coil placement or vaping habits, so I'll reserve judgment there.
This is truly another Quality Device from the Jedi Squonk Master. A different kind of PV, one designed for Power Vaping to say the least.....

Maybe a bit more wick papa? I wonder if you need more to absorb the dripping? Nice build!

(sent from Mars, it's not as red as I imagined.)

Vapetesia has some Dynasty tips that are absolutely AWESOME !

I know Super_X says this is a lung hitter, but I am getting quite comfortable MTL with the VAF ring almost closed. Still puts out Great (!) flavor and a really good amount of vapor. A week or two of getting comfortable with this, I might have to start looking at Odin BF, Cyclone BF and Atomic BF DC's. And, of course, haircuts for my existing Grands. Good Stuff !

Either that or you can slipstream it and take in air as you pull on the driptip, by not sealing your lips fully round it.

Probably unnecessary with coils over 1Ω, but worth knowing.

I do this on my smaller RBAs with 1/16 holes so I can lung hit. I can make some nice clouds and get great flavor.

Yeah - but i run my RM2's at about 0.5Ω and bigger dual coil atties at about half that!

I'm also lucky because i can vape all day at work and whilst fogging the office out is not cool (well it is actually!), i can do as i like in the factory. Everyone i know that owned a Reo uses the RM2 as a benchmark for a flavour-producing single coil atty and i still do.

I use my RM5 wide open, I have had all different types of coils experimenting with different gauge wire and different wrapping techniques.

If I want a really hot vape, I'll build two 4 wrap stove top coils using 24g kanthal around 5/64 bit. (.22 ohm total resistance)

If I want a warm vape, I'll build a single 4 wrap double parallel coil using 24g kanthal around 5/64. (.35 ohm total resistance)

If I want a cold vape, I'll build two 7 or 8 wrap micro coils around 5/64 using 28g kanthal. (Usually a .5 or .6 ohm total resistance)

I believe the RM5 is a pretty versatile platform for building plenty of different sized and style/gauge sized coils. It's easy to build on and still IMO produces good flavor and big vapor.

I also tried dual twisted 28g micro coils about 9 wraps on each and it was a slow burn, not my favorite but I think it had really good flavor with the air flow ring almost closed. It was about a 1 ohm total resistance build. Had a lot of surface area on the wick and didn't immediately torch off like some of my other coil builds.

That double parallel 24g single coil was a beast and would spit vapor as soon as I pressed the button, yet is was a warm vape and not as hot as those stove tops. Stove tops are by far the hottest coils I've ever tried. Nothing else even compares to the heat emitted from those coils.
