Thank you guys for the replies it's much appreciated.

In my reo I mainly use readyxwick which is a ceramic wick and apparently extremely "safe" and sometimes it's koh gen doh cotton.

I figured for this a ekowool would probably be best to start before going to my teadyxwick. Only issue is (dspins pictures are fantastic) I don't get how the wick wraps to a lil bow tie. I would probably just loop the wick twice and build my coil around it so I have 2 loops touching the fluff? Something like that lol. I hope I'll figure it out once that bad boy arrives.

So far, tracking shows no movement or the like so I assume it's not in the USA yet.

W2Q - the number of loops depends on thickness of wick and what you like

Here is pic with the very thin silica that comes with Prometey

It can be wound on a template or around a couple fingers - I have more than one loop on each side when I use a very thin silica wick like is shipped with Prometey. I use one loop on each side with 1mm ekowool. With ekowool, just take the ends and overlap them in center and you will have a loop on each end. You will learn quickly not to make them too long or they will fold over too much and block the air.

Thank you dspin! I actually thought if the ends are too long I could simply cut them off which I assume isn't the best way either. I have a bunch of ekowool so I will practice a bit until it gets here.

I really hoped it would get here before the weekend but I highly doubt that will be the case.

I am liking the Twik (Ekowool w/silica core) there's also Twik with cotton core... the core materials will not hold up to fire or red coils so they can't be dry burned like hollow Eko or XS or XC...

but....

I like them better for lower resistances because imo they seem to wick faster; could be something else but i love cotton ball for sub ohms and Twik is the closest to cotton ball wick (which i do use a lot as well - see Q's photos... although they don't seem to poke up to the filler as well).

Yes- cotton ball wick will burn if not wicked right; but if its got enough juice, even with sub ohms it works great and they are so easy to re-make and slide into a micro coil.

Some vapers take Eko or Twik (XS / XC) fold it over and use a wire to pull through a micro coil with large enough diameter (ID) to get the loops... but i hand wrap a micro around Twik or Eko as best i can; about 3-4 wraps 26g wire.

This P2 is the best atomizer in my bunch for a number of reasons; i love my Gryphon but it doesn't hold as much juice (ymmv)... talk about a straight-up RDA its the best though. At least until i can get my hands on an Achilles.

Achilles....where art thou?

just noticed on your OP Dspin, "adjustable pos. pin" ... could you explain more?'
i just noticed one of my pin/posts is taller than the other...wonder if i did something?
I kind of like that because i put one side (tail) of the cotton wick down to base and one up for filler touching.
but worried i loosened something...

doh, yeah, figured that out. i was having trouble making connection with a certain connector and tried the "old school" way - lengthening pos. pin made it sink down.
The teflon insulator goes down too... and now that the pin is back up i think insulator a little sunken.

I noticed the air intake can be adjusted but if too open can it leak? or is that just because i had post too low and juice was getting in the connector.
I wonder.... like if you undo the allen screw all the way out, will it be at its widest or will that cause a prob?

I should have ordered a backup kit of bits for the P2 when i got my shipping notice for Achilles...

I have never taken it apart Uke - It should have come with a bag of spare parts including shims if you tried lengthening the pin.

Air control can be adjusted. The only place I have EVER had it leak is through the outer air intake hole and that's when I pour juice down the drip tip and overfill - being too lazy to take off tank cover

Yeah, i drip through the tip at least 10 times a day. Its just too easy; i keep it tilted when dripping so it doesn't get in air hole and then lay it on its side (and slightly towards the top of it want it to soak into the filler too.)
I still use it and my Gryphon more than any atomizer, and.......

Achilles is on the way !

I go through a least 10ml of 3-4mg nic DIY juice on those 2 atomizers themselves a day

If it is the Prometey-II you are talking about - I have "removed" that AFC screw altogether. I now have a gaping hole at the bottom ;) No leaks even if I keep the atty unvaped and for a prolonged time.

I was finding it quite tight a draw - and it's fully open position didn't help either. Without the AFC plug it is fine, tho not yet as the Russian 91s. My airiest atty is the Estia. Very much lung-inhalable.

yeah i think it was leaking from the side and juice got down at the bottom and it just looked like it was leaking; good to know!
I like the draw on it at full open, because I'm not used to those lung inhales too much, like my dual coil double air hole attys.

The Origen and now the Zenith2 are great atomizers imo... but i put their air holes at the smallest diameter possible.

I got a Veritas and it will not close off much though... lots of air even offsetting the adjustable air ring.

The Troy X which has an under-coil air post, even with the widest possible adjust (supposedly 1.5mm), its actually too tight for me... it comes with 3 removable air posts and i can't imagine what the smaller ones are like
