I recently got my Prometey II , its fantastic just as the Achilles. I still have to try it with that filling material , but its still fantastic with just a silica wick , and 1.2Ohms kantal 28.

I´m a little dissapointed its no longer available, I would like another one. Maybe I just order another Achilles.

No worries, prometey will be made again, when problems with Russia are resolved. The factory shut down before because of the war over there

This is going to sound like a dumb question but i really cannot find any English reviews on the Achilles rda and i picked up one. I am about to do a review on it and was curious, How do you pronounce the Achilles?

Playing around with my 30w box, I made a 2mm ID micro coil, 30g wire, about 14 wraps! 2.5 Ohms (haven't got that high in years), in the Achilles.
At 14 to 15w its pushing 5.6 to 6v (depending on the setting) and with a cotton wick its a thicker, warm but cooler on the throat vape than my sub ohms coils.

Very nice.

Seems the thinner wire cools down faster so the juice doesn't burn the wick like the 26g wire micro's I used to make.

Gonna have to get my Eclipse out and try some duals with ie. 2x 2.5 ohms coils = 1.3 ohms at 30 or 40w just for fun

Thanks D. This atty has been on my radar for a while now. I've not had any luck catching them in stock thus far so I was very pleased when I ordered it yesterday. Got the "shipped" email this morning and can hardly wait.

Now, if I can just get my hands on a Tamerlan I'll be a happy camper.

Just got my Achilles yesterday. Have yet to put a build on it. Thinking I will mount it instead on the Original Phantom Brass Stingray as I will probably remove the AFC screw completely and the Bishop doesn't have any air intake on the top cap where as the Stingray does.

I got the Achilles yesterday and just wanted to try something different. Here are my results with my first spaced coil. 26g spaced micro wicked with rayon.

Youcan put Achilles on ANY device. The AC screw controls the airhole on outer base of Achilles, just below the tank section

I'm using an Achilles on my DNA40 Flask... works a charm!

All those wraps (12) gets me .20 ohms, 3mm ID. Japanese cotton.
30g Ni200 wire is thin and not as easy to wick as thicker wire but the DNA40 is pretty forgiving.

The Temp Protection helps keep the wick from burning.

On the right: Achilles on DNA30 with thinner wire and higher volts is killing it! Love the thick vapor and great flavor.
I was using 26g for a long time and got too many occasional harsh hits. Thinner wire at 1 to 2 ohms gives you more coil surface and cools down faster than 26g. I vape this 2.2 ohms coil at 6 to 7.2 volts, 18w. DNA's go up to 9 volts.
