just had a nice experience.
wanted to wick my springomizer. so i took some titanium grade 2 around 0.29mm which i had bought an never used some months ago.
i didn't used it since making a coil always ended with too low resistance for my taste - 1 ohm ore more is prefered. and to get more resistance would mean a longer coil ... too long.
anyway.
I made a nice long spring/coil and ... loaded my springomizer with it.
I ended up with over 2 ohm ... without having any problems regarding place!
the springomizer gives realy much room for experiments!

i ended up with cutting my spring to fit with 1,2 ohm.
works splendit.

I never thought i would use this wire anymore. now, with the springomizer ... everything goes.

Wow great!, I try it with 26ga Kanthal A1, this is something Sir iMeo keep quiet. KAKAKA

The wraps, and stuffs, it set your Kanthal into exact place, and a fix ohm. I have it at 0.82, set it the cotton, and have it firing at 0.78 fixed ''may drop, and raise''. But that is what I think why the coils is around 0.7, it keep your batteries to effective use at around 3 and not more than 4 volts, which is very crazy iMeo put this in thoughts. This if you are using regulated or mech, your batteries are able to last longer.

This is iMeO.........................!:confused::evil::rickroll:Sparta!!!!!!

Brass Cap v2 and Tilemahos v1 AD Base, pretty pls ~

tomorrow I will make a video to show you how springomizer and how a regular coil behaves on TC devices. You will easily understand that the solution to temp control is the springomizer. No hot legs that always give you the burn taste.

Hello everyone !!
Apologies if it's been already answered recently, but do we know when Ti springs will be sold?
I love springomizer concept, but I'm somehow not happy with SS springs on my temp control device (Dicodes V2): the resistance seems to build gunk way too fast, and is not as consistant as a regular hand-made Ti coil.

I'm not quiet sure ... I've always supsected it was a wrong value of the temperature coefficient. I've set mine to 100, and that's the lowest setting available on Dicodes chip. I'm not sure exactly what the issue is, and I lack time to do advanced experimentations and figure out the actual issue.
As per the symptomes bothering me:
- my SS coil is getting full of gunk way too fast. I need to clean it every day, and that's too frequent for my taste. Ti coil last me at least 3 days with the same type of liquids and temperature.
- the burn taste on empty tank comes with no warning!! One will be can be perfect, and the next one will have a burned taste ... On Ti, I can clearly feel the lower performances because the wick is getting dry, and I've several "low perf" puffs with no dry burn, to understand that I need to refil the tank.

Ti on this chip gave me a satisfying experience, I'm happy with it, I have predictable and consistant results. I don't know if I do something wrong, or if I need to re-learn everything from scratch ... I'm expecting the Ti spring to give me back this constant results.
Do you still plan to sell Ti springs? If so, when will that be?

Do we even made premade Ti springs? I'm pretty sure you can make your own since Ti is quite springy just by wrapping it around a 3mm rod.

I tried with the 28AWG wire I have, but the spring tension isn't high enough, and the spring too flimsy. Has anyone tried with higher gauge? what's the SS spring gauge?

Now all my Tilemahos are springomized and all of them are loaded with 26 awg Ti springs. With the GG4S or TC with the EvicVT, the best vape I remember. What I like more is that with my Ti coils around .38~.40 ohms my batt last almost twice than Kanthal or nichrome even at higher ohms. The liquid last longer too.

Some of my Ti Coils:

The problem I found is Ti coils from wire tend to lose some springiness after vaping for a short while and then come off the springomizer contacts. Almost like floating around. Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me?.
Sorry, tried to not reupload pics and messed up. NandyDC quote is first paragraph.
