I just wanted to share in case someone have been having wicking problems with his Springomizer, as I was having.

I exprimented with a lot of variations (using cotton and rayon), as cutting the wick flush with the channels, some wick down channels, cutting the wick leaving the channels completely free, using different amounts of wick. At the end with the same results, dry hits, or flooding, very inconsistent resuts.

In the pictures I used the usual amount of wick, no too tight nor too loose in the coil, but instead of cutting it flush with the channels, I left a lot of wick and placed it inside the gap that is left between the terminals and the housing.

You can see in the pictures the amount of wick I placed inside the gap, the result:

consistent liquid supply, improved flavor, no flooding, no dry hits, with the juice control opened 1 turn or 1 1/2 turns.

I call it the "Leia wicking".

Great Ariel :)

Also, the new housings with 4mm channels are almost ready and they will be available for new and old users very soon for only 3 euros

4 pieces the new housing for me, please. :)
Because I have 4 springomizers today, but I do not know how many springomizers I will have tomorrow. :)

Just wanted to add my two cent's and this is just my observation using the v2+ housing with the 4mm channels and some tiger wire and rayon wick (cellucotton) has given me the best tasting vape to date. Wrap the wire 28awg*2*ribbon*5m twisted kanthal (3 wires) around a 5/64 punch down tool (or 2mm rod) wick not to tight cut even at the channels is great. I vape mouth to lung gives off good vapor great taste!

glad to hear that Adam. Thats exactly what I am going to do. 4mm channels to all springomizers
I don't know why 1mm makes so much difference but it does to me. It may allow a little forgiveness when wicking, I find the tiger wire because it is twisted acts as a wick of sorts as well. If you ever have the opportunity to try it you should. with all the ceramic coils out now its still depends how well it wicks. A wickless RTA would be what is next? Thanks Adam
