thats true about Busardo Seek and I want to thank you for your willing to talk to him about this issue. But I dont think that you will have the results you want. I was the one that told him that springomizer doesnt work on temp devices. At least it doesnt work on VIR and I suppose that he had same results on his temp devices.

Hey folks,

a little update on the tc problem I have.
I tested various firmwares (1.30, 2.00 & 3.00) for the vtc mini. On every setting the cotton is burning above 160°C :(. I tried the original housing for the springmozier, the housing of the tile 2 plus, both pins, but to no avail...

Temorary solution: SS Profil set @ 150°C and 18 Watts. It's tasty and no dry burn.

Next steps:
  • Ordered SS and Ti wire. I'll build some coils and will try them on the original tile 2 plus with the temp control.
  • trying the older egrip rba with the 510 connector on the vtc mini and trying tc on that one, to determine, if the vtc mini ore the tile is maybe defect...
Will be back next weekend to present results.
Nontheless - I'll by the X1 :D.

Offtopic: the petition to the German Bundestag is now @ 48951 (50k needed and 3 days left to support it). Some good news here!

Happy v.a.p.i.n.g and thanks for all the advice and your experiences. see you soon.
Ron

edit: put some dots in, because a word had transformed into a marketing link ...

After a while I tried out Imeo's second suggestion for better springomizer feeding - just using Tilemahos V2 plus' housing.
I have to say it works, better than switching orings as I did in first place. I still think a regular coil works better but it's not bad at all, I have to admit.
For what matters I briefly tried it in TC with a vct mini and everything seemed fine to me, but it was just a quick experiment, one should try with a DNA200 and look at escribe to see what's going on in there, of course. Unfortunately we damaged our circuit after switching it from a case to another - maybe someone could post some graphs generated by the software here?

This is news to me. Why wouldn't temp control work for springomizer?:(:censored:

Imeo, one question on Ithaka and springomizer:
It seems to mee that the housing of the new rebuildable part (Ithaka Update) and the Springomizer is identical in dimensions, exept the center post wich is thicker than the Ithaka center post.
Wouldn't it be possible to make a new base with a wider hole for the Ithaka to make the allready existing Springomizer fit into the Ithaka? By the way - this would give the Ithaka a bigger air hole also.

a new base with an AD ring like Tilemahos Tax? Not a bad idea at all! That way we will save a lot of time and effort!

I think that you are right because we dont need anything else than a new base. Also Ithaka will be a sealed atomizer like this

Yes an NO.
Keep the AD Part with 510 separately for all those which use Ithaka as Hybrid with GGTS or JGG. (like me)
It should be possible to simply make little changes to the original base and keep the second part with the 510 conection seperately (thats one of the best features of the Ihaka - its flexibility).
Maybe we need another (a bit longer or shorter) adjustable Center pin for the 510, but thats easy to acomplish compared to a complete change of the springomizer. And maybe a little changed O-Ring around the Center Pole is enough to make it fit perfectly.
And then you have another benefit: All Rebuildable Parts of the Tilly would fit for the Ithaka. Everyone who wants to update his old Ithaka (with ceramic or not) has then the option to choose between all rebuildable parts of the Tilly (V2, V2+ and Springo). And in every case he gains the better airflow of the Tilly. Sounds promising for me.

Hey folks, good news!

Couldn't wait till the weekend, got the titanium wire today.
I've made some coils, pulled a little to get a nice spring and put it into the springomizer.

Resistance is 0.82 Ohm (awg 29, titanium grade 1, had it on a 2.5mm coil master ). Put it in tc (240 degrees Celcius) and chain vaped for a quarter hour. Build up real nice flavor, no dry hits whatsoever. Just a phenomenal vape.

First conclusion: my evic Vic mini isn't so well on SS tc?!?
Will try the diy SS springs later in the week, maybe on the weekend, if my wife doesn't leave me before, because I'm spending more time with the springomizer than with her .

Later and happy v.aping.
