Yeah. Don't forget folks, it's not just what the FDA will do to us, but your local govt's. also.

Bingo!

And if the Goal of this bill is to prevent Cigarette Butts from cluttering up Beaches and State Parks, why are e-Cigarettes Specifically Included in this Proposed Ban?

In the meantime, I just got encountered my first ever "refusal to ship to CA" from an e-cig vendor. Tried to order a mod, no luck. I sent an email, this is part of the response I received:

"The reason we can’t ship to California is that they now require proof that the recipient is 21 years of age or older. At this time our website does not have the capability to verify over 21 (only over 18)."

How were they verifying over 18? If the verification is the typical way on a web site, all they have to do is change the number.

Don't ask me. I think they are being a tad proactive, the law didn't even go into effect in CA, but I can't really blame them. The vendors who are aware (and many are not) are scared.

And yes, I'm getting more vape mail this week from other vendors--no problems.

Doesn't the 21+ go in affect on June 9th?

And I'm with you. I don't Blame companies for wanting to get things in place slightly ahead of any Deadline.

I am hoping everyone remembers that Kamala Harris was one of the AG's that signed the letter urging the FDA to release the Regs.

She is running to replace Barbara Boxer so vote accordingly this June 07th.

Right, ban vaping, legalize other stuff.

How many times can one person vote in CA? Ballpark? ;)
