"Tooting"

Roommate got out of bed to get ready for work. Yells at me from the shower, "did I charge the battery on my tooter last night? Please tell me I did."
He did.
Partner gets up an hour later. "Honey could you fill my Kangar up for me while I get ready? I have to weld all day today and I'll need something to toot while I'm in the weld house."
We are a three tooter family.

Every time I read that someone "toots" their PV, I immediately think of making a toot sound like a small train. It drives me crazy, too!
I was also raised that a toot is a small, embarrassing fart. My family are Yoopers (from da UP in MI), where you're proud of being able to fart like a manly man. It's even more impressive if your a woman. My family may be considered rednecks, but I'd rather have that than a bunch of up-tight, nose-in-the-air people.

Yeah, I say "hit". Toot means fart. I never understood why we as a vaping community have this personal agenda to completely alter our vocabulary about the subject of nicotine inhalation just because we inhale vapor instead of smoke now. I understand the term "vape" or "vaper" because it's not smoke or smoking(b.t.w calling it smoking really grinds my gears). But I find myself saying "hit this" more than anything. I don't see a need to change that.
Political Correctness is irritating....but toot? Come on!
Ps. Why the GrimmGreen bashing? His opinions are suddenly less valid because he's younger? I don't care what posters are in his room, one's ability to do a well rounded and descriptive review has nothing to do with their taste in women.

I'm guilty of occasionally saying toot but 90% of the time I say vape (vaped/vaping/vapes). Ex., I need a vape or I'm gonna go have a vape/gonna go vape. I always call my devices "PVs" (personal vaporizers) or I call them by their real name (ProVari, iHybrid/iHy, kGo, etc..)
