The word "toot" bothers me as well, but I'm not going to dislike, judge, or really even care when someone says it.

A friend of mine used to know someone that referred to getting drunk as "doing the nasty" so he would evidently say things along the lines of "Hey man, want to do the nasty tonight"

Now THAT is something I would refuse to tolerate.

How about cigarettes then? I don't care for analog!

YES! I forgot to chime in...

I CAN'T STAND IT WHEN PEOPLE CALL ANALOGUES "STINKIES"
I don't give a care if people say they took a toot, it sounds cute, its borderline funnyish, and I like it because its blatantly trying to be silly and funny in a satirical, sarcastic kind of way.. Its not that we're so young that the words "toot" or "tooting" is blatantly funny, but we're old enough to get a chuckle out of it because they r cute words, & we know its sort of funny to hear them coming from a grown, mature person. The 1st thing I probably think of is whistles, or tooty fruity gum, not farts. I don't think any child used the word toot to refer to a fart. If any1 used the word toot as fart, its probably my grandfather or his father. lol. I can see a brown slacked, pale wrinkled old man laughing at the fact that he just tooted, sure... But my generation thinks of gum, candy, and whistles. lol. Toot is fine with me. I even use it sometimes because I can appreciate the subtleties of it. Its not meant to be immature, its just silly.

STINKIES ON THE OTHER HAND? Gross. Immature. Annoying. Why? Why is it so popular? It sounds like a mother referring to her childs dirty diaper every time I hear that stupid phrase used for cigarettes. "I quit the stinkies" O you quit crapping your pants? good on ya brother. Now you should mature enough to stop using the word stinkies. lol. I can't stop any1 from using it, but I wont use it myself.

I prefer Death Stix, Cancer Stix, Even Smelly Stix is better... But I definitely prefer more sinister words for annologues because they took my fathers life. They aren't stinkies, they are killers.

@ UncleChuck, it won't offend me or make me judge you if you use the word "toot", I love Grimm Green's video reviews. It's just when someone uses the word "toot" it jerks me out of the moment.

@ Plumes.91, I tried to use the "analog" word, too, but didn't like it, either. Now I just use the term "real cig" or "real cigs".

You know what. I've decided that a person like me is exactly what a person like you needs in your life.

Now shut up while I love the evil out of you!.
No, I'm good, but thanks!

I married the right person, she doesn't even WAKE UP until 10am!
We don't talk much, but there are a lot of hugs, and we still hold hands after 13 years.

She has a sister with one of those sunny personalities who also happens to talk incessantly.
I can always tell when my wife is on the phone with her because my wife is silent throughout most of the conversation.

She enjoys talking to her (listening really) for awhile, but after about 20 minutes can't take any more.
Me? I'm sure I wouldn't even last 20 minutes.
:)

Hey DC2, I just wanted to point out that a 'Sunny disposition' can be very different to a chatterbox or motor mouth. Someone can be sunny, ie. be positive, forward thinking, optimistic etc. and yet be fairly quiet.

On the flip side a chatterbox can be negative, a complainer, a gossip, a trouble maker... etc. or someone who just has to share their every though out loud and can't stand being alone with their own thoughts and not like silences. That does not make them 'sunny'.

yep...I know what you mean about "toot".( I think beans and horns:)). I guess "puff" is better, but even that sounds comical to me. One could say "drag", "draw" or "pull", but that puts it more to like "smoking". I don't like to confuse what I'm doing now with anything to relate to cigarets. I don't even like to call my set up an "e-cig". I say "my device" or "my vaporizer". I guess everyone can say what they want to. I don't judge. I'm just glad we can "vape".:)

Holy crap, man! My girlfriend is up at the crack of dawn each morning. I've been sleeping in till 10:30, 11:00 am for the past... twelve years? When she stays the night, I find myself asking over and over and over again in the morning, "Just a few more minutes? Please?"

If only my girl slept in that late. Man!

I usually call it my "gadget" when speaking with friends and family members who aren't vapers. We have three vapers in the family, so they know what they are. Sometimes my vaping coworkers just call it by it's model name. "Hey, lemme hit that Twist," "can I hit that Zmax?" "I'm busy, but you can hit my Provari, it's over there."

My wife calls it her firestick. and I hit it or puff it or toke. I try to call mine a ENDS (Eletronic nicotine delivery system) but it won't roll of the tounge properly so I am still searching for a good name.

Yeah....and that kinda reminds me of when they tried to ban them by declaring the "e-cig" a "nicotine delivery device". I'm sure the name will come.

Oh and while we are on terms I do like PV. I know it stands for personal vaporizer which is kind weird terminology. But I like saying PV it reminds me of the amps and guitars so I don't mind much.

I think that is the best way to put it. Who doesn't like amps and guitars!? :D
