I know I am a few hours behind this but for me this is not just about vaping. I am quite old fashioned and a big believer in manners and common courtesy. Regardless of if something is legal or permitted, if I think it might offend or upset I will refrain from doing it. That goes for speaking my mind, vaping or anything else.

In a different discussion I had with a friend we talked about the age of entitlement and selfishness. It is my belief...... That......Just because you can does not mean you should. This is an inbuilt set of values that I see with most of the people in this thread and why I hang about.

This is also one of the few threads I get involved in mostly because of the manners and respect shown here. Maybe it's not just about old fashioned vaping gear maybe this thread is all about old fashioned common courtesy, manners and a willingness to help by knowledgeable people.

    WOW
I love it when someone 'gets it'.:toast:

Difficult for Dolphins to dole out abuse, especially when considering the fact that your QB, who has won TWO Super Bowls, wasn't even BORN the last time we had a taste.

Current GPS location does not represent origins. If my memory serves me, his name might have been LJFinNJ, had he joined ECF some years earlier.

Blue blood runs deep (trust one who's father never fully forgave him for forsaking his beloved Giants).;)

Go Eli (truth & sincere). I keep them close... :thumb:

And not to go TOO far off track, but one of my father's boyhood friends, who remained close enough to attend Dad's funeral, wore #81 and sits among the wall-dwellers in Canton, OH.

    A good man, for sure.

Yes, I hold them VERY close (to my heart).

    Good Morning!

Well, y'all have re-inspired me. I'm going to break out my 3.1ES today and give it a go. (I've had more success with that one over the Lite.) I might even whip up a KF Mini (fully extended looks most amusing :D ) I'll have to partake of some "traded" juice that's higher PG than my home-brews (I've not adapted the wicking holes on any of the KFs)

Have a Vapey Great Day :vapor:

Back on the Kayfun wick section of the topic, I've experimented with all sorts of Koh Gen Do wicking on my EHPro KF 3.1 and what I like best for flavor is a really tight wick. I have to roll one end of the wick tightly with my fingers to make it slide into the coil. The compressed end gets cut off when you cut the ends to match the deck height.

I know that sounds like it would starve from the tightness, but once you get it into the coil and pull it back and forth a few times it begins to match the coil exactly. when I pull it back and forth to size it sometimes I can see the coil moving back and forth just a little from the pull. Pull it back and forth until it slides without moving the coil.

The point of it all is to make sure the wick is touching the coil all around with no gap at the top of the coil that would allow a hot spot. Pulling it back and forth kind of sizes the wick to the exact coil diameter for a great fit. You start with a little too much diameter and size it to fit.

I do this with a 2.5mm coil and the ends are the perfect size to cover the deck when plastered with juice to the deck wall. I cut the ends so that they just touch the deck. With Koh Gen Do I find that the vape suffers if the wick is too loose. One you install the chimney, use a hypodermic needle to push the ends down and make sure they are still touching the deck.

It's only my present location. My heart will always be and teams will always be back North!!

NJ? They will never be the NJ Giants! :p It would have been LJFinNYC! :D Your right Blue Blood runs through my veins! They had a couple of good years but have not been what they once were recently. I like Eli a lot especially that stupid look on his face when he screws up!

Wow! I remember watching him play when I was a kid. He was some player and a great guy off the field. :thumb:

Yeah - Eli does have a look, doesn't he? I still like him a lot. I rooted for his father, back at Ole Miss. Peyton too, for the most part (I hate the constant audible thing).

I remembered it was either NJ or NYC, but I struggled for accuracy. 50/50 shot - failed. Sorry, LJF. :(

God forbid I place a Manhattan child in Joisey, eh? ;)

    WHOSE statue IS IT??? :D
