WOW, WOW, WOW!

At least the article gives a thumbs up to vaping (even though it calls our juice vaporizers!)

"Fortunately for smokers, there are also some good news for them. The new technologies have brought to the market some amazing alternative products that are much healthier and also cheaper. E-Liquids (vaporizers) are an excellent alternative that offers all the pleasure of smoking without the health hazards and with much lower costs."

I don't need anything but with the bank account replenished (somewhat) I can afford a new toy or two. Just can't decide what.

I guess I should mosey on over to FT and peek at the goodies. If I could find a mod that takes 18350 bats I'd grab it. The only one I know of, the KSD Vamo, is out of stock but I have one.

Both Kayfuns are clones.

It starts, next sale on now

Yep, one was SXK marked with Svoemesto logo and the other a no name. Both were listed on FT as "styled". I can't knock the quality of either. China's good at replicating technology. Patents must mean nothing internationally. The SXK box had the Svoemesto logo and the SV symbol is on the atomizer itself.

More bad press fodder for the media.

Navy Bans Vaping On Its Ships, Fleet

“Multiple sailors have suffered serious injuries from these devices, [including] first- and second-degree burns and facial disfigurement,” the press release said. “In these cases, injuries resulted from battery explosions during [e-cigarette] use, charging, replacement or inadvertent contact with a metal object while transporting.

”The Navy said e-cigarettes will officially be banned as of May 14, and the policy will continue until officials set a formal policy after a “thorough analysis.” While vaping is banned on Navy equipment, sailors will still be able to use e-cigarettes on base in designated smoking areas.

E-cigarettes have become an increasingly popular option for smokers who want an alternative to traditional cigarettes, but the devices recently have been subject to increasing oversight from regulators. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration ruled last August vaping hardware would be treated like tobacco products and restricted to buyers 18 years of age and older.

Hmm! Interesting! I've never heard of this company. Do you know anything about it?

I don't, Bea, though I've heard of them. I'm sort of interested in doing something with my 18350s too ... though I do have a Roller mech that will use 18350s-18650s. I still use my Provari minis, but always with extension caps for 18500s. If they were a little cheaper, I'd give the Touch Box a try, probably, because dual batteries might work out better than the super limited life span of a single 18350 (even for a tootle puffer) ... but I'm trying to spend less these days.

Spending less is no fun.

We used to be happy when the service rep. came and fixed the Xerox 9400 when we had big print jobs on the go that needed to be out,but that was waaaay back in the 70's.That Xerox was one BIG machine that did alot of work for the print shop I was at:)

Oh, don't get me wrong. My provari minis are still, and probably always will be, my favorite mod that I use 99% of the time. I was just looking for something new to add to the collection that also uses 18350s since I have so many of them.

BTW I don't find the life of the 18350s all that limited. I guess it depends on one's vaping style. I only vape just under 2mls/day at 3.3-3.4V (7W) and get 8-10 hours per battery.

Y'all think 'bout 5 watts'll be enough to fire this thing? Or get wild and pop it up to 'bout 9 watts?
Oh what the heck…live dangerously…go up to 9.1W;)
Wow, there's been like ten pages of messages since I was last on here. I have no clue what your all on about now ;D
If you snooze you lose. So grab your vape, settle in your comfy chair and catch up in this the best, liveliest, most fun thread :)

I'll go off topic for one post. ;)

That guy was one of my fellow tech reps. I was a 9400/9500/9900 tech rep who transitioned into printing systems which were based in the 9400 engine and later the Docutech product in the 1990s and 2000s. I actually had a 914 (first Xerox copier) in my territory back in 1973.

I was looking at provaris on ebay, I don't trust the site all that much but can hardly find them anywhere now :(
Try contacting Bill the provari repairman, perhaps he has some used ones sitting around.

Also if you become verified here on ECF you csn look in the classifieds.
