Buying stuff for my wife at Victoria's Secret is one of the many reasons I've been married for 28 years this Saturday :)
Congrats! My daughter is getting married on your anniversary, I'll have to let her soon to be hubby know this tip, I want to make sure she keeps him around because he makes me bread pudding!

Sure left that one wide open, low hanging fruit & all.

Ima leave that completely alone, don't want a youreabadboyagram coming for a Moderator.

    Nope, aint gonna do it,
But it's so easy...you know you want to.
Ummm, yeah, I won't go there either, I'll just wait for DP to come along, surely he'll have something to say.

Nope..debit card. I used to use my debit card to make online purchases. After being burned several times...no more.

Same here. I had a credit card compromised while I was OS in Korea for work. All our accounts were on hold until I could get back and sort it out. Seemed to take forever. I did learn a valuable lesson and that was to keep accounts seperated so that if anything happens to one it does not leave you without access to funds.

We can use paypal for everything other than US purchases so I just top up the account that is linked to PP. I then have a debit card attached to that account for vendors that require credit cards.

I think your taking all this "Zombie Apocalypse" thing a little too serious corn flakes, they will never take over all the vape shops in the country. ;)

In 50 years I will have the answer to that. I trust the government to make nicotine legal so they can tax it to oblivion. I trust manufactures to make new and improved and discontinue my favorite gear, already happened.

Like computer data, vapers must have backups of backups of backups - you can never have too much. ;)

I`ve seen remarkable forum threads over the years where someone has ONE device and ONE atomiser/coil (!)
then find themselves up the creek when it goes wrong !

Even smokers usually carry a pack of 20 cigarettes at least and often have more than one lighter.

When you find something that works - make the most of every Sale and Discount Code and stock up -
you never know when they just might disappear completely or get the design changed for the worse.

    BUY EVERYTHING !

    My plan as well.

Just caught up on all the messages, @corn flakes how do you afford so many things at once?! My wages wouldn't even cover that amount of stuff, I've gotta be happy with a mod & tank every fortnight, sometimes less than that!

In those 3 picture it cost just over a month's worth of smokes. I like clearance sales. The question should be how did you afford to smoke.

Haha, I'm 26 dude. Marriage isn't in my head, my parents got married at 18. Doesn't mean I want too :p

I waited til mid 30's. Don't regret it.

I used to jokingly say I could fly to China and the US once a month and buy vape gear in person and still not spend anywhere close to what it cost hubby and I to smoke. I do know that when we smoked we did without other things.

I have not smoked over 100,000 ciggies and at almost $1 a smoke here in Australia the amount saved is mind boggling

Have @Katdarling put a spreadsheet together for you that takes your former daily habit and calculates it across a year and your current spend on vape stuff and compare :)

I suppose I didn't start vaping to save money. We had both expected to go out of this world with ciggies and lighters firmly held in clenched fists and our retirement budget had to cover that. Vaping came along and OMG it worked so disposable income was freed up for woodworking in hubby's case and art in mine. We don't want for much of anything so life is easier and we can follow passions that we might not have been able to afford.

OMG Uncle! That sucks. I hope you're in relative comfort. Most of the time

Me too! I retired when we moved down here, I was 63 and had worked really hard and saved away so I could retire and maintain my current and very simple standard of living. :)

BOA has what they call "Shop Safe". A temp cc number you can make out for whatever amount you need. That's the only way I make online purchases.

    That DT is so pretty!

Oh no  That's awful. So lots of pain, more surgery?

    Thanks, Bea. :)

They usually don't check unless you actually hand the card to them. People use those little machines to swipe the card or input the numbers. Like walmart. They never ask either way.
I can't believe a store would be ok charging a CC without the card being present. That's insane.

DH and I have gotten in the habit of using cash for everything that we buy locally. Only use CC on trip and online and then with a BOA "shop safe".

It's really not hard living on cash. We live on a budget. The first of the month I go to the bank and draw out the cash and divide it into envelopes. Food, entertainment, cell phones, gas, etc.

AND - Although, I am not a medical professional in any way - from personal and very similar experience with breathing problems - What "You" describe in your post above could not only be from smoking cigarettes and other breathing problem (like Allergies/Chronic Bronchiectasis/Asthma/Emphysema) - it can be a sign of "Sleep Apnea" (Sleep Apnea Basics) which I was also as diagnosed with years ago . . . So - as purely very strong suggestion - Please go to "Your" doctor and get yourself checked out for these problems as soon as possible . . . Better to get a head of these problems NOW then to wait until Ya' really cannot do anything to change them to live a fuller life as Ya' get older . . . Just Sayin' . . .
    troubled-old-man-smiley-emoticon.gif
I second that. Please do it soon.
