I can't believe a store would be ok charging a CC without the card being present. That's insane.

DH and I have gotten in the habit of using cash for everything that we buy locally. Only use CC on trip and online and then with a BOA "shop safe".

It's really not hard living on cash. We live on a budget. The first of the month I go to the bank and draw out the cash and divide it into envelopes. Food, entertainment, cell phones, gas, etc.

I second that. Please do it soon.
We are the same! We've been cash living for 10 yrs and love it!

I know it's crazy. But they don't seem to care, or they think it takes too much time. I never sign the back of my cards anyway, I always put "See ID" on mine so they feel they have to check my id. I have become much more aware after my card was tapped. I know what you mean by on a budget because being retired income is always less than when you worked. And I use the shop safe feature at BOA too. Can't believe other banks haven't followed them.

:)

I would not have been so nice, I'm afraid. I would have challenged them. But it won't help you get your money back any faster. sorry

I was at work so I kept it toned down. But I'm actually really ...... off that I was blatantly lied to! I may have to write a nasty-gram to their corporate offices.

Good idea seeing they are the ones who is ultimately going to lose this battle. They can trace the transaction back to the clerk who did it and they are in big do-do.

Weird question: how many puffs do you think it takes to fully change a flavor? I don't know if I'm being impatient or need to re-wick because a flavor isn't fading

Depends on the flavor. Anything with strong flavors like menthol for example, you might as well just rewick, it will never go away.

    I can relate. I have 132 mods. 118 are "in play" - ready to go at a moments notice. Those include 18350s x 4, 14500 x 1, 14650 x 1, 18490/500 x 2, 26650 x 5, and 18650 x gazillion. And, backup batteries for each config. Prolly in the neighborhood of 200 cells...
132 mods? Wow! Hey, I've never known anyone else that has a 14650 mod! I have a Blue Lightning mod that takes a 14650. I have all the same battery sizes, plus a Janty stick that takes a 10440.
In those 3 picture it cost just over a month's worth of smokes. I like clearance sales. The question should be how did you afford to smoke.
I used to jokingly say I could fly to China and the US once a month and buy vape gear in person and still not spend anywhere close to what it cost hubby and I to smoke. I do know that when we smoked we did without other things.

I have not smoked over 100,000 ciggies and at almost $1 a smoke here in Australia the amount saved is mind boggling
Yup. I definitely could not afford to smoke. But, I did anyway. I chose to do without food and other luxuries in order to smoke.

    I haven't smoked over 90,000 so far!
I trust manufactures to make new and improved and discontinue my favorite gear, already happened.
It's great when you can catch stuff on clearance. But, when you miss the clearance and it's all gone, . . . . . :(

I know this isn't a flavor thread and I don't know how many of you TP'ers DIY, but I just had to share this. One stop diy's lotta latte and lucky shot combined are absolutely delish! It's my new ADV. and I'm a very picky vaper when it comes to flavor (took me 6 watermelon flavors to find the one I like).

I think (to myself)..."Well...who in their right mind...would want to be in an INSTITUTION???"

Dave Ramsey promotes the envelope method. Great way to live debt free.

Been fighting the so many of the "institutions" all "My" life . . . S0 - It's just one of the many reasons I asked "Myself" - why I would ever marry someone . . . Although at this stage - some form of "security" would be nice . . . Just Sayin' . . . ;)
