It's an assumption but If it's not artificial supply constraints then they're running the company wrong.
If they haven't in all this time been able to figure out how to ramp up production whilst maintaining standards and lowering production costs and meeting demand then somebody needs to get a partner in business management.
They're leaving so much money on the table right now. So my assumption was artificial supply constraints because I'd be surprised if given the amount of time they couldn't figure out how to make substantially more product to meet demand. Many of the vape companies keep things constrained to drive popularity but there's a point where you've created the hype and it's time to meet demand. Bbv are well past that point and on to people just saying forget it. I know personally four people who wanted one and couldn't get and are now just moving on. Surely they can hire in more people to make these or ramp up production some how. And with their sales numbers and the speed at which they sell out getting a small capital investment should be no issue, assuming capital is the issue with larger runs.
I just can't fathom it's anything other than a lack of desire to make more of them or bad management. Sorry to be so blunt. I'd love to have one but I'm not playing f five warrior. At the very least they need to open the system up to lottery. Take a list of people and what color they want and shuffle it through a randomizer.
Also rat Black is by far the most popular color but they don't appear to even be calculating that into production runs. It makes zero sense and it's driving a ridiculous second hand market when they could be making so much more for themselves.
There are hundreds if not thousands of people waiting to get one of these things. At $350 a pop or whatever I just can't imagine not making more or coming up with a better system if creating the air of constraints isn't the goal. Their purchasing procedure makes Facebook lists look like wonderland.
He may also be running the company precisely how he wants to, staying small, make and sell so many per 2 weeks to create the income he wants, and being in full control from the beginning to the end of production cycle. I looked for, read, and watched every review imaginable on this device, I may be wrong, but I have not heard about 1 issue with these. The quality has been very consistent.
Regarding the colors he releases, every device is sold out quick no matter the color. He's appeasing those that want any of the models he is releasing. I'm personally curious how many he makes of each.
As far as the Chinese clone makers, it doesn't matter how high the quality of clone may appear, they are not putting the same quality and care into a clone as the original maker puts into theirs. I have heard of problems with the SXK chips, they put the original's brand and logo on their fakes which justify it all you want, it's stealing, and when you are not getting the level of care and quality control as the original, well you get what you pay for. But justifying purchasing a fake from a bunch of thieves because the supply and demand isn't to your liking is still supporting an industry that infringes on patents and profits off the innovation from the ideas of someone else.
Jus sayin
