Is it possible that when you charge via pass through, that the battery doesn't get fully charged? Mine seem to not be lasting as long (less than a day vs at least 2 days of holding a charge)

When it gets done charging, pull it and put it in your charger. If it charges for any time, its the mod:nah: if it shows full its time for new batteries (or at least one)

@Krisma Have you ever thought about making panels for a Lost Vape Halcyon? Is it doable?

Yes i think it is doable. Same as the billet boxes. I am going to do a couple for the epetite's as well. The thing is that like the billet box Rev3 there is no easy spare panel option so I have to remove the actual mod panel. That could be a problem and change the original value.

Have you actually tried doing that? Great idea but never heard of anyone doing it. Good reason to use cells.

Just wondering because I've only ever used PT's and only just lately had one die because of the battery.

Chel's post reads like the common way a Lipo dies.

The battery is only 4 months old. Shouldn't they last longer than that?

Going back to my wick-fanning question. Wouldn't it be easier to install the chimney on this RBA with compressed wicks? This is an Axiom and I'm having trouble getting the wicking installed correctly in those 4 grooves. The chimney always catches the wick.
If anyone has one of these, I'd love to see a pic with your wick installed, before you screw on the chimney

I've heard all the horror stories but I must say that I've not once had a problem getting one, dating back 4+ years now. My observation has been that many people spend too much time trying to update the world as to what's happening with the site, rather than remaining focused on actually getting one.

Never missed. Not once. I'm talking 15-20 times to date, and many were black.

I may just be lucky, and I get that, but that's a LOT of luck, given the reputation.

That's stunning. I tried for about three months waking up to an alarm every Saturday and they sell Out within a literal five seconds. I started trying before the dna60 with the DNA 40 and couldn't even get one of those

If I send you money will you get one for me ? :)

Just go to heir site if you want to see what it's all about. Then try Saturday mornings and watch them sell out in mere seconds.

Just purchased the Evolv DNA 60 blue on 3F. Bought my black 70 on 2FDeal a week or so ago. The clones go quick.

So there are real dna60 clones too. Interesting. I thought just 40 and then the non DNA 70 ones.

Do you recommend the clone ? I'm fed up trying to buy an authentic. Spending $400 is enough of a headache let alone having to set an alarm and wake up every Saturday just to miss out. So I'll happily buy a clone.

But if you see the clones selling out that nicely as well then it must be thousands of customers for bbv being turned away.

No. Fan it out and trim it if it's too big. That's the way to wick those. Make the ends into a point.

It's an assumption but If it's not artificial supply constraints then they're running the company wrong.

If they haven't in all this time been able to figure out how to ramp up production whilst maintaining standards and lowering production costs and meeting demand then somebody needs to get a partner in business management.

They're leaving so much money on the table right now. So my assumption was artificial supply constraints because I'd be surprised if given the amount of time they couldn't figure out how to make substantially more product to meet demand. Many of the vape companies keep things constrained to drive popularity but there's a point where you've created the hype and it's time to meet demand. Bbv are well past that point and on to people just saying forget it. I know personally four people who wanted one and couldn't get and are now just moving on. Surely they can hire in more people to make these or ramp up production some how. And with their sales numbers and the speed at which they sell out getting a small capital investment should be no issue, assuming capital is the issue with larger runs.

I just can't fathom it's anything other than a lack of desire to make more of them or bad management. Sorry to be so blunt. I'd love to have one but I'm not playing f five warrior. At the very least they need to open the system up to lottery. Take a list of people and what color they want and shuffle it through a randomizer.

Also rat Black is by far the most popular color but they don't appear to even be calculating that into production runs. It makes zero sense and it's driving a ridiculous second hand market when they could be making so much more for themselves.

There are hundreds if not thousands of people waiting to get one of these things. At $350 a pop or whatever I just can't imagine not making more or coming up with a better system if creating the air of constraints isn't the goal. Their purchasing procedure makes Facebook lists look like wonderland.

He may also be running the company precisely how he wants to, staying small, make and sell so many per 2 weeks to create the income he wants, and being in full control from the beginning to the end of production cycle. I looked for, read, and watched every review imaginable on this device, I may be wrong, but I have not heard about 1 issue with these. The quality has been very consistent.

Regarding the colors he releases, every device is sold out quick no matter the color. He's appeasing those that want any of the models he is releasing. I'm personally curious how many he makes of each.

As far as the Chinese clone makers, it doesn't matter how high the quality of clone may appear, they are not putting the same quality and care into a clone as the original maker puts into theirs. I have heard of problems with the SXK chips, they put the original's brand and logo on their fakes which justify it all you want, it's stealing, and when you are not getting the level of care and quality control as the original, well you get what you pay for. But justifying purchasing a fake from a bunch of thieves because the supply and demand isn't to your liking is still supporting an industry that infringes on patents and profits off the innovation from the ideas of someone else.

    Jus sayin

Yeah - I know the stalking drill. There's a well-practiced process that many of us have followed, documented in the BB thread.

But if the clones are truly that good, and you can save some coin, why not just give one a shot and save yourself some aggravation? Worst case - you're out $70. Not that I'm a fan of clones, but I certainly understand the draw.

Mine is not to assess, but only to practice. That goes for both vendors & clients. I'm a true free-market guy, I guess. :)

Like it was mentioned above, bring the wick tails to a point (somewhat) but also use your juice of choice to wet the wick tails, they'll stay in place that way. Make sure there are no cotton tendrils on the edge of the juice channels, thread the chimney slowly. If you have any resistance at all back it up a little and try again.
