While it's still on my mind I wanted to bring something up; USB cable charger Amp ratings. A while ago I downloaded an Android app for my cell phone on a whim. It tests your current charge rate when you plug a charging cable into your phone. It seems to be accurate. The name is Ampere and it is available on the Google Play Store for free. I'm sure that there are other apps that do the same thing so I'm not so much recommending this particular app. But I am recommending that people who can use an app of this nature should have an app like this. I just recently (Doh!) realized that this is pretty handy for making sure that you don't charge a mod's battery at too high of an Amp rating if you end up in situations where you may not be carrying the charger designed for your particular mod. Seeing how this is the tootle puffer thread I would imagine that there are a lot of people visiting in who use mods with internal batteries and could use something like this as a safety feature. You could plug your phone in first, read the Amp rating, and then use the charger if it is within the safe parameters of your device.

I tend to use mods with 18650's in them but I do have a device with an internal battery. I will also shortly have a total of two devices that can be charged via USB even though they use 18650's. But I don't charge via USB unless the device requires it. I have an Efest LUC 4 that I use religiously because I'm paranoid. But if you do want an app like this, here's a link to Ampere:

That seems decent enough, but if I can remember to lug that around then I can remember to lug my OEM mod charger around.

Why would you need to lug it around. Test the charger and test the mod

I'm saying for when you are out and about and you need a charge but you want to make sure that the charger you have access to has a safe Amperage. Like, say, your tootle puffer isn't supposed to be charged at more than 1 Amp. All you have access to is your friend's cell phone charger because you are in your friend's car running errands. You don't know if your friend's charger is 0.5, or 1.0, or even a 2 Amp charger. You could just plug their cord in to your phone and check with this kind of app.

Or you could just plug in your mod....if it sizzles, quickly throw it out the window. Any reason to buy a new mod.
Aw... don't mind me, I was out in the sun all day.

Kinda the same here,I've got a Lemo v1 and no matter how I set it up I could never get a vape that worked well for me and I tried for a good long while.I gave up and went back to my KFs.

Cheaper than blowing up your phone.
