Have you watched a video on rebuilding the CLR to see if you can do it? The good news is, even if you can't rebuild it, the 1.0 CLR lasts a very long time, and it is very easy to re-wick. In fact, after several months using them, I haven't had to rebuild any, though I did go ahead and rebuild a couple to 1.5Ω for use on a Provari 2.5.

Hope you enjoy them. Here's a vid by Mr. @Shawn Hoefer his own self:

Thanks Mike!!!
I bookmarked it for future reference.
I don't know what I will be able to do. Re wicking looks easy enough, but my eyes deceive me a lot.
I use to rewind electric motors in my previous life, so I completely understand the concept.
Just don't know until I try. I can be very impatient with myself.

Well, been busy, had to spend a couple days travelling for work in Canucklehead land, I mean Canada, so I'm a bit behind.

Congrats Kat, sorry I missed the big day!

So any of our Canadians care to answer a question? Do all Canadians like to use misleading phrases, or is it only Totonto-ians (Torontorians? Torontians? whatever) or is it only the people that program the signs on the 401 through Toronto?
A sign that says "401 moving slow from A to B" is a bit misleading when it really means "401 not moving at all, traffic jam from HE double hockey sticks" and equally misleading were the signs which stated rtafiic was moving well after you got past a certain point, as what those signs really meant was "It's not a standstill but you'll be lucky to reach 1/2 the posted speed limit"

I believe it is the third busiest traffic city in North America. Express moving slowly and Collectors moving extremely slow both mean the same thing. Parked.

I avoid toronto anytime I can. The only reason I go there these days is for the airport. I have spent my fair share of time sitting in traffic. From the 427 to the DVP takes 12 minutes at night with no construction. I have had that take more than a hour a rush hour. Rush hour starts at 6am and finishes at 8pm.

I'm not too fond of Toronto airport. I flew into Toronto about 15 years ago when visited friends near Barrie.

I landed at Toronto. A huge thunderstorm was passing over airport. I was stuck in a puddle jumper jet for over 3 hours. Then I had to climb three fights of stairs carrying my Luggage (it had wheels on the Luggage for a reason!) so i could go through Customs.

Second worst airport i have ever been in.

I'd guess you know of these (makes wrapping coils VERY EASY)

but thought I should mention it... :)

NoCode Lazy there ya' go! There also this, if you wanna try it NoCode Tired that uses the Aspire BVC coils. My understanding was the Lazy was better than the Tired.....

One of the main reasons for sticking to the Cerotanks is that I can test all my coils that I put in the billet boxes.....Aspire BVC non nautilus coi and they become my backup if i need a good coil quickly. Nothing worse than having a dodgy coil in the BB.

I could be talked into either of those nocode atties. They are a bit expensive though

I'm exactly the same way, Bea. I do like the 1.0 CLR very much, and it's not a hot vape. But when I rebuild it, I usually wind up about 1.4 or 1.5. For one thing, that allows me to use the tank on a Provari 2.5, which doesn't like coils under 1.2Ω.
Hmmmm. Maybe I should look into this tank then........I've made the switch from Vamo's to Coolfire IV 40W.

Ditto. I have an electronics degree, been vaping for 5 years, and still never re-wicked or built a coil. I've bookmarked it also.
I want to thank you all for all your help. You certainly contributed to a special day for me today: 6 months smoke free!
    Woooooohooooooo!!!!!! Congrats Chelsea!!!!!

Yeah, I will see if they help. Thanks!
The biggest problem I have is numb finger tips.
I have to feel with my eyes.lol
That and the left hand has a mind of its own.
But it's all good since the coils are cheap. (Like me)

    Way to go Chelsea!!!
