Have you watched a video on rebuilding the CLR to see if you can do it? The good news is, even if you can't rebuild it, the 1.0 CLR lasts a very long time, and it is very easy to re-wick. In fact, after several months using them, I haven't had to rebuild any, though I did go ahead and rebuild a couple to 1.5Ω for use on a Provari 2.5.

I don't know what I will be able to do. Re wicking looks easy enough, but my eyes deceive me a lot.
I use to rewind electric motors in my previous life, so I completely understand the concept.
Just don't know until I try. I can be very impatient with myself.
