Please help me with what I need to download. I went to nfeteam.org and clicked on "download arcticfox". Which of the files do I download? There no .exe in there. Only a .bin and a source code?

Then there is also a "download nfe toolbox" button. Clicking on that brings up NFirmwareEditor-v6.5.0.zip. I saw no .exe file in that zip either.

How the heck do I install that software?
NFE Team

The NFE is the editor, the Arctic Fox is the firmware.

Yup got that on the site. Downloaded all the files but arctic fox doesnt want to open for me because it's looking for the bin file which I also downloaded in the same folder. This is what I get when I click on arctic fox launcher

I'll retry downloading the whole thing later. I'll PM you if I continue having issues. Thanks for your help.

Please, please, leave it for the rest of us out here, don't take it to the PM. I get the feeling we may need to use it at some point.
Ok. Will do.

BTW I deleted all the files and re-downloaded them and I get the same message. Very frustrating.

T for Texas!
Did anyone here try the VVTF Nautilus rba v2A yet? I have the V1 and V2, the V2 is a major PITA to thread properly and from the pics it would seem the V2A is the same.
I did try one of them, can't remember which, and sold it... Major pain.. easier to recoil the stock atties than the one I had.

I have the VVTF 1 AND VVTF 2. The V1 is pretty easy. The V2 is a PITA. The V2A has bigger screws.

Not if the atty drains right.

I've had my REO GRAND clone and Nuppin' atty in my pocket for 2 weeks now without a single drop.

I've gone from sea level to the top of the Rockies twice now to boot.

Methinks you need an atty with proper drainage. ;)

DON'T DO IT!!!

You think you're spending money now?

There'll be no stopping you.

The voice of reason! I have enough devices to learn to use as is. I'm just interested, that's all! I may buy just one. But I'm pretty well stocked on devices so it's a want, not a need[emoji4]

Well, I answered my own question. The V1 doesn't work in the Vika, the glass is about 3mm short when the V1 is installed.

I've been thinking about this... what if you cut the chimney tube to fit? If I can get my hands on the VVTF V1, I'm going to try it.

ETA: looks like you would lose some juice capacity unless you add a fill hole too: http://m.imgur.com/gallery/n62DTzi

Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday! Just wanted to say thanks for all your help, if it wasn't for you, I'd have never gotten in to the satisfying hobby of all things vaping DIY! It's nice to have such a great bunch of people willing to help. I usually get an answer to a burning question within a half hour.
Oh, and I'm writing this while tootling![emoji4]

Idunnowhybut... (I think "Pacer" every time I see it).

Hmmm. Pacer works. I think these may be suitable as well....

Holy effin crap, it's hideous looking!

Oh dahlink. Beer holder? ;)

(I agree with you!)

Right. I forgot that we're not supposed to go off track here.

But yes, it's always better to have two of something when you really like it a lot. You should probably get another.

Whatta pair... ;)

Have two in daily use, and as far as power mode no negatives at all. Don't do TC so can't comment on that function. I find them to be very comfortable to hold.

Yep, same as the Pressa, but, well, boxier. One of those in daily use as well :) Different hand feel, of course, but again, no negatives at all.

Get two, but be sure the battery is a good one, or put it in a flashlight ;)

See above

Are you/were you referring to the ummm, Avatar battery? What IS that.

I'm an avid dripper, and have been from the start. It's just different strokes.
I see no reason to change what I like just because it isn't what someone else likes.

<3 ya, tj. Ol Skool Rocker, you. :thumb:

I like to customize and fabricate. i made a custom measuring stick to keep track of daily ml's.

Say whaaaaaaaa? Pic please, and recipe?

Thanks peeps!!
I did notice the battery is
1 x Avatar 18650 2000mAh Battery +$0.00

So I will be recycling that immediately!
Dude don't mess with unknown batteries.

Avatar...... what the heck is an Avatar batt? A batt that looks like a batt with a picture of a batt on it? Oh my.

Have a reference for that?

There is a pdf online. If memory serves it is publication #58.

David and TwoBee, I'm still unclear as to what this is all about. I would definitely like a link to more info on this. I know you've mentioned this a few times now.

I never vape where I shouldn't.

Oops, blush. I invariably do.

I would encourage every vaper to have at least one (Nemesis, Chi You, King V2, Stingray... all good choices)

And I would encourage the diametrically opposed choice.

Altho, in all truth, I do have my mech mods.

Funnily enuf, they are all logo'd Provari. ;)

We have those "things". They are as far back in the cabinet as any vape thing can go. They are mainly and popularly renamed the OMGWTHVVWTFPITA atomizer. Just sayin'. ;)

@DPLongo22 - do we have the V2? I think they are.

For a song. <SMH>
