It's interesting to watch. In many threads, the vapers are trying to out do each other in one direction...

"Dude, I never vape below 100 watts."

"HA! I haven't been down that low since 2015. It's 200 or nothing."

"Ha ha!! Since I got the RX300, I've never dropped below 250."

Then I come over here...

"7 or 8 watts, max."

"What? That's crazy. I hover around 5."

"Wow! That's too high. I shuffle my sock feet on carpet and put wattage INTO my mod through static electricity."

This is EXACTLY why we need to continue to support new MTL devices like the Nautilus 2, Innokin T18, KFMV3, etc. that are built for MTL, low watt, above ohm vaping. Even if we don't want the devices ourselves buy some and give them away!

And whenever you hear terms like "beginner vape" defining good MTL tanks or "my vaping evolved" when describing high watt/sub-ohm, stop that crap dead in its tracks! Those terms carry shame for those who don't sub-ohm and that is a load of who who :)

Rant over.

TT, have a TP Badge. You've earned it.

I draw the line at wicking made of hairballs though.

Pffft...static electricity? That's so old school. You have to harness lightning if you want to the big clouds, bro.:D

Once again you lead us into uncharted waters we may be skeerd of dipping a toe in! You would have fit right in in the early days, when almost anything we saw was a potential vape toy!

Don't know about hairball wicks, but cat hair does add an, ummmm, interesting flavor. Ask me how I know...

    BRAVO!

I'm usually defending the other side around here.

But all safe forms should be fully supported!

Definitely agree...Can't stand snobbery in any form... But in the industry mtl took a hit for a good period... I believe the industry is correcting itself back to a good balance

@VapeLuvr , let us know how the mesh coil worked out, please. Keep in mind you'll be in sub-ohm land and stay safe. I may just try it on a single coil RTA on a G2 mod since that sucker will safely fire down to 0.007 ohms.

Thanks for the warning! I need to go out to the garage and pound a nail through both ends so the screws can go in correctly. This is definitely different, but at least I'm having fun!

Ooookaaaayyyy, let's just hope that IS NOT the living room table!

No I used the work bench and brought it in! Here's my feeble attempt, don't worry, it's coming out. No plans to use it. Plus once I put on the top it would probably short out. This is obviously going to take WAY more practice!

It doesn't look like the mesh was rolled up very tight. Is this one of those "interesting, now back to the drawing board" experiments? I would say a bit more practice would be good. I am thinking of trying it in something that has post holes to trap the coil/mesh like a 2 post RDA ( Hadaly would work great, it has clamps) or a Serpent mini rta.

Is that a tight draw, for MTL?

Honestly, mesh rolling was very difficult for me. It's hard to keep it nice and tight. It won't go to the back drawer until I've conquered it!
