I use a spreadsheet for date of last coil. Two months-ish. But, I still scrub a bit and fire the coil to get ride of gunk when I re-wick. You can see that the 5" handle was sawed off the right side.
View attachment 651045 I use a brush after cleaning the whole topper. Actually, each time I change the wick , too.
I too use a sheet to jot down date of last coil and last wick. Also date I opened last juice bottle to keep track of daily consumption.
I still don't understand why diluted white vinegar soaking isn't popular. Alcohol is more chemically abrasive. I mix about one part to ten parts of clean water. No smell and its clean. An hour bath. Good for the bottles, too.
I love vinegat. I use it diluted to clean my wood floors, wipe down kitchen counters, and soak my GSAir-M factory coils when I run out of vodka. I soak them overnight and get another week or more of great vapes!
Unfortunately, I typically keep it, too... here pretty soon, I'm gonna have to move to the sheep barn 'cause my vaoe gear's gotten to critical mass.and there ain't enoigh room left...

I love thr smell of a sheep or cow barn
Skinny, itaste vv3's. Boxes are billet boxes. BB's are a great vape. But a little hard to get. But worth the trouble... IMHO.

I like that bird!
Today, 18650 tube mod at 6-9 watts. Yesterday, 18650 tube mod at 6-9 watts. Last year, 18650 tube mod at 6-9 watts. Tomorrow....hmmm.
Sounds like me only with 18350 bats :)

Why mess with perfection, right?

well since they all use same coil, it's kinda a toss - up...

then I've not used them lately due to the superior performance of the eGo ONE

but got a few Melo 2 with my iStick TC60w kits
then ,what, that Melo 3 Mini came with the iStick Pico (don't think I have a Melo 3 Nano)

the Melo 2 would be close to the Kanger STM
tall / 22mm dia / 4.5ml

I don't have any Aspire tanks , just 'cause they cost to much !

Don't know what that channel is but enjoy!

It's all about Cars, Trucks, anything with wheels I guess, and customization. Prolly not something that girls would be interested in, I know my wife isn't. I can't sit behind the computer for a long time so I get up and and walk around and stand and watch the "Velocity" channel for a while, then come back to my computer or just go to bed. Or go downstairs and mix up some juice or play with all my vape gear for a while.

Wow, aren't we all Fancy Smancy. The next thing you're gonna say is that you wear socks with you're shoes. It's gett'in a little too high brow in here for me.

I promise to never use more than one wire at a time ever again!

Hi, Droz, and welcome to the funny farm :)

Haven't used a Cthulhu, do build. I don't bother with "fancy" coils, clapton or other. Too much trouble for too little gain for my tastebuds. But higher resistance would seem to be in order for what you say you're looking for. Switching to a smaller ID restrictor may help a bit, and may be worth a try.

I guess I just want less clouds, but more flavour if that's possible. I suppose Claptons give *more* cloud... I'll have to find an alternate solution!

Thankyou.
@sorrynomore I have to add another suggestion. Vicks makes a personal vaporizer that fits over the nose and mouth. Do not use Vicks or any other aromatic in it. (Per my Pulmonologist) The hot steam can kill virus and bacterial infections. And for @RainSong the dry heat low moisture can cause infections. For everybody you can find a very inexpensive, non addicting simple saline nasal spray. The nose sprays that contain meds can be addicting and cause a very bad rebound effect. Sorry, lots more than 2 cents.

You can use as many wires as you want to Droz, I was just pull'in your chain a bit. ;) Claptons are something that I have been looking at myself for a while, but what always has stopped me from using a Clapton is that you have to use a lot more power to light them up compared to single, or even twisted wires (30g Kanthal and smaller is what I normally use). I don't make my own twisted or Clapton wires, I use store bought wire and coil it myself, so my selection is more limited on buying Claptons than if I made them myself. I always got really good flavor when using twisted 30g Kanthal from "UD", you can buy it in 30 foot spools at several places, and I would run a 3mm, 6-8 wrap coil at from 12 to 16 watts and got good flavor and good battery life even on single 18650 battery mods. If you want to use even less power and a twisted wire then use twisted 32g Kanthal from "UD" and use a 3mm ID coil (or 2.5mm, or even 2mm) and 5 to 8 wraps at about 6 to 10 watts. A double twisted wire coil (I have found) always gave me better flavor than a single wire coil. I always use a spaced coil also, I haven't used a contact coil for over a year now, because I believe that a spaced coil also gives better flavor than a contact coil does.
