I googled pictures of that tank to see what it looked like on mods (couldn't wait lol) and it seemed like the base is 22mm

Are you sure that's not one of the sex toys fasttech is pushing?

I had an extremely DUH moment today...I rewicked my ego one along with my other 2 kayfuns then went out to rake leaves,on about my second vape break I noticed extreme lack of vapour production.I went in to check things out,the coil was fine it read 2.1 ohms, hmmm took another drag and things tasted burnt, unscrewed the top and had a look see....Geez...I forgot to actually put juice in the darned thing.Boy O Boy did I have a good laugh at myself.:)

That's usually when my Koh Gen Do wick burns in two! Dang, I hate it when it does that.

I've tried Rayon a number of times and went right back to Koh Gen Do. What's the secret of getting cotton like flavor and vapor from Rayon? I use Sally's Cellucotton and have tried it tight, medium and slightly loose. Is there a break in time for flavor to appear as opposed to cotton?

There is a slight break in time for rayon, as it has to be really tight in the coil, so it gets more flavorful (for me) after a tank or so... Takes up to a couple days for rayon to shrink a bit (according to the folks on the rayon thread who were vastly helpful, actually) and once it has shrunk completely, the vape really improves. Maybe wick it and don't vape it for 24 hours, just let the rayon do its thing? (Although, I'm not sure if heat is needed to shrink it or not, come to think) but yeah, maybe do a build and start vaping it after it sits full and (hopefully) starts shrinking for a bit. I don't so much get a rayon "taste" it's just a less smooth and flavorful vape once it breaks in....

I noticed a new (to me) tank pre-order on fasttech called the Tilemahos Armed. I then found a pbusardo video about the authentic version
.

I am captivated by the novel method of putting in a coil which requires no screws. It made me think of you, @Two_Bears as you have talked about your issues with capturing wire with screws (I have some issues with it too)

Wow, no screws! Since I can’t even guess at how this could work, I may even watch that video.
I usually only watch vaping videos when I have a particular problem with a mod or tank (and usually it’s after I’ve asked here for advice and still haven’t been able to solve the problem), I don’t watch review videos as I don’t necessarily trust that I’m getting their honest opinion or if it’s because they got the product for free and want to keep the company that supplied it happy (call me cynical ). I come here for information when I want a review (I hope that didn’t sound rude. It’s not meant to be rude[emoji4])
ETA: is that what’s considered a postless deck?

The best reviews are on this thread. If someone buys something with their hard earned money, they want it to work.

I do look at that chart guys site for mods. I just look at the charts and make sure the mod will fire at 6 watts. How it looks, i really don't care. I don't need to spend 5 minutes watching a video to realize it comes in disposable packaging.

I juice and fire a few times (on RTAs) before final assembly and filling, so that's not generally noticeable by the time I actually get to vaping it.

If I'm pre-building, for a quick fill and go later, I'll use unflavored at my normal nic and PG/VG ratio to prime. When that goes away and my flavor starts to come in, I know it's wicking well, so can then crank up the power - and any rayon flavor is gone by then.
